In the words of the late Frank Zappa, "GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY!"

- you can pick and choose snippets of my sentences, some out of context, all you want.

Sorry to make you feel misquoted and taken out of context. It was not my intention. I thought I read you loud and clear and if I'm not mistaken isn't picking snippets from peoples comments your technique on HoseHeads? I think I do understand you capabilities so let me respond "Buzz" style but with a little readability and a tad of punctuation added. I'll copy and paste directly again and just hope you don't feel out-of-contextified. wink

- yet you fail to acknowledge the fact I offered support. still i will address your post.

Thanks for addressing my post. I could of swore I typed, "Nice you threw an A for effort in there though". Apparently that wasn't enough so let me formally thank you for acknowledging Mr Noceti's efforts and wishing them the best after spending the other 80% of your original post focused on negatives.

- the crime in stockton is well documented

I guess not enough if you still found the need to mention the "gang bangers and druggies" instead of seeing any positive for Stockton and possibly racers and fans. Hell, it even worked on Threadkillller wink Believe it or not, Stockton has some pretty nice areas and wholesome families living there that might enjoy their horsetrack being used a little more for some family entertainment. Their not the ones on the news however. They and others just might welcome itt occuring in the daylight hours with it being so close to Charter Way. Ever been to a Stockton Ports game? Lot's of families having fun and their a lot like a race crowd. Unfortunatly new race tracks aren't built in desirable areas these days. Look at the fight your home track is having to stay in business.

- day time dirt track races do suck. then add in the summer temps in stockton

I don't necessarily disagree with that. I thought you were a big NASCAR fan, day racing can be a lot like that only dustier. I'm sure your dad must have taken you to a race as a youngster? If not please forgive my ignorance. Stockton has lots of dads with little tykes there too. Eon's ago my dad took us to a few day races at the West Capital half mile and the mile at the old State Fairgrounds. I wasn't bitching about day racing when I was a kid, I was in heaven and have been hooked on open wheel dirt racing ever since. Before retiring from Apple I worked with a few of those types of dads who do live in nice neighborhoods in Stockton and I know they would welcome some home spun entertainment.

- if efforts equaled results, i would have gotten through to you by now.

You would have gotten through to me by now if you didn't say ridiculous things like "you may squeal like a 14 year old girl at a justin bieber concert at the mention of a new dirt track," I guess if cutting and pasting an article from the Sacramento Bee for readers that may not have had the opportunity to read it is "peeing ones pants and acting like a 14 year old girl at a Justin Bieber concert," then I do apologize. I sure don't remember feeling or expressing those sentiments. I did put a question mark in the topic title to express some doubt, I guess that escaped you.

- if you are not willing to at least acknowledge the realistic challenges involved, then it leads me to suspect you have an unobstructed view of the inner workings of your colon

Who is this imaginary person that doesn't acknowledge the realistic challenges? Me? How did you extrapilate that? I guess it had to be my use of "$hit" when you brought "pee" into the conversation. If so, I can replace it with poop. Was it that I suggested you cheer up? Again, do you really think people on the Norcal board don't get that this is a big challenge in a depressed city and that negotiating with the WoO is like a trip to the IRS? Maybe your just "not willing" to accept that others may understand that too.

It was just an article, I didn't write it or pee myself or go giddy like a little school girl as you imply. I just cut and pasted it like I did your Buzzisms. I don't dislike you or wish to offend you, in fact I can remember the days when you actually contributed some humorous post on here. I always enjoy your Buzzing Around Ocean column. I wish you and yours good health and will look forward to your next column.

ricci.

i'm not going to get into another big long discussion. well, maybe i will, who knows.

i only started out mentioning my concerns regarding some challenges in this track prospect, while also giving credit to those who are taking on those challenges.

i figured most people would understand that.

i haven't changed my opinion that there are some valid challenges to over come with this, or my hope that the powers that be will be successful in that.

if i got a little sarcastic in my responses, well, it is most likely because that is what i felt was deserved.

i didn't think it was such a slight to anyone by pointing out my concerns with the project while at the same time complementing those involved for their efforts. maybe you took it differently. i am not as eloquent as my good friend thredkilllllllllllllllllller! wink

hey ricci, i know you aren't trying to offend me. none taken, and none meant on my part. we are all big boys here. plus i was just taking the opportunity to have a little fun. sometimes i'm just to easily amused.

plus if you knew me at all, you would know i don't give a crap what anyone thinks anyway!

it's all good. we all have our own opinions

thanks for mentioning my buzz column. i am still working on the final one for the last taco bravo race. i started it, then went to trophy cup, then got busy for a couple of days. then started feeling like crap again and found out i have to have more kidney stones removed. just can't seem to get motivated to finish it, which kind of sucks.

i see some of the stuff you put up. i just can't get into shooting vids of the races. i barely can handle doing the little bit of video that i do.

hope to see you around.

Wow! That took you way longer than it usually does. You getting slow old man? Or were you just fortunate enough to be doing something that doesn't have you sitting in front of a computer all day? :-).

Don't I know it. I still have to watch my back and peek around corners waiting for either that Sargent or Kaeding hit that hasn't come yet :-).

we need a sunday morning race like we need a hole in the head. but it might be good because all the gang bangers and druggies in the area might still be asleep.

i really hope that they can find a way to race, but we all know day races suck. especially in stockton summers.

not to seem any more negative, but negotiating with WOO and actually getting a race are very different.

the only available dates seem to be during march, when the chance of rain is prevalent.

during the sept WOO swing this year they had to try to fit 5 cali dates back to back before heading back to the mid west.

like i said, i hope they can make it fly with the challenges involved.

i still give them an "A" for effort

No kidding about the gang bangers just don't have a 13 or 14 on your shirt or hat
