I very rarely boo. But if I do it will be my choice, not because I was asked too by someone who sounds to me like they will not even be there Saturday night.

This is not the "savage nation" you may be mistaken me for, this is Savage. Nuff said, check my stats...
I pretty much bleed this sport, without it I don't exist. But even I wanna see something new, something that's gonna make a first-timer fall in love with this deal like I did. After 2 nights of qualifying, does anyone wanna predict how it's gonna end up????

I found it interesting that when asked tonight, the top 3 drivers in tonights A-main would rather put the larger tank on then have the fuel stop.

I look for the fuel stop to definately affect the outcome of the race-gonna be some unhappy campers when this one is over I predict.

Should have been at Pevely Saturday night, it sucked when the red came out and the announcer tells us these cars are NOT designed to run 55 laps. I say then don't run 55 laps, because they call these beast sprintcars.
|
The race at Pevely last Sat. was not the same after they decided to stop them after 30 laps for fuel. The top four of the 9, 19, 14 and R19 were really close to each other and Schatz was going to make it interesting working the low side. They only had one red and maybe two yellows before the stop, I very well think they would have made it.
You guys are saying don't bash it. Don't any of you remember the TNN televised race at K'Ville in 2001 that Stevie Smith won? It was 40 laps and no fuel stops on slick track.

Do you really think 10,000 empty seats is a good thing for the sport?

The more laps the better. I like the idea of 50 lap races on all tracks. The 25 and 30 laps races go by so quick. We just need bigger fuel tanks. It's 2009, they should be safe by now!
|
Thats my thoughts also. Used to be any big race was a 50 lap main, but now we have to run these ridicules tires and mini sprint tanks. So either the track takes rubber and they follow each other around or they run out of fuel. I'm sorry but does the fan count any more--do they really try to put on the best show possible??

Wrong....that race was basically ran in a 2x twenty lap format...there was a stop, in fact alot of guys even changed tires because of the slick track.... and Stevie wasnt leading after the first 20!!!

If "progression" is mandatory, or for that matter ANY fuel stops, COUNT ME OUT.
This is the biggest load of crap ever. What's next? Mandatory rubberdown tracks?
The "youngsters" are like hogs being let to slaughter...
