Not my car, not not my money...if it were, it would be Shane Stewart or Chad Kemenah
Kemenah has had some good Nationals runs in the right equipment started on the front row in the Hunter 10H

Kemenah is in the 2KS for Knoxville and the forseeable future leading up to it

Pretty sure he won a qualifying nite a couple of years ago in that sloooooooowww # 3
|
That's possible. I remember him running one of Side's cars and it had the #3 on it. That would have been 2018? He was the fastest car on the track at the end of that night------------he just didn't have the position on the track. I may be wrong, but almost positive that #3 was not a Lundstra #3. Please correct me if I'm wrong and I'll eat my words.

I think it was 2018 and I'm pretty sure it was the Thursday night. Pretty sure it was a #3 car too, but don't know if it was Lunstra or not.

I'll throw in the wager that Lance Dewease will run the 410 Nationals for Indy Race Parts because why not.

Shane or Joey....if it's not the driver who's currently in it.
|
Joey Saldana is already registered in the ride he's been driving the last couple years.

Shane Stewart racing the Indy Race Parts #71 with sponsorship from Team Trackhouse
Glad to see both Shane getting a ride and Justin Marks stepping in

So...just so I am clear. The 11TK car is the Lunstra #3 with a different paint scheme? And saying that, any chance TK gets back this way and in that car for some Knoxville ASCoC racing and Husets the next day? Anyone think he will run 360 nats?
Also, there was a #10 car entered into the 410 Nats with TBD for the driver. I was thinking that could be either Zeb Wise or Blaney. Now it isnt entered. Any insight on that from anyone?

what's the feeling about how macri did in this car? i don't think he made any of the features at eldora...but i don't remember him tearing anything up either. somebody else mentioned how hot/cold the sprint car world is so i'm guessing this wasn't good enough...which would be unfortunate.
|
Personally I thought Macri was very disappointing. The Indy 71 is one of the fastest, best prepared cars in the country. When they show up at any track, you can bet your ass that the car is capable of winning. If the driver does his job, they almost always run top 10. Macri just looked bad. It was the perfect opportunity for him to show that he's more than just a Port Royal ringer on one of the biggest stages driving one of the best cars in the country. Unfortunately that just didn't happen. Bernie is one of the sports most brilliant minds. I can see maybe missing it one time but I guarantee he didn't miss it that bad at every race.
