Its much better live, like any dirt track race (or concert!) Very electric atmosphere

Plus, on TV, you have to watch whatever cameraman choses to focus on, can't see battles in the back & midpack

Racing has to be pretty hard to watch to make a Vikings fan want to watch the Green Bay game but that is what I'm doing.

I have enjoyed bits and pieces of this week but I have no motivation to vacation for a week in Tulsa and attend this event.  In another thread I asked about speeds and guessed 70 but looking closer today it's probably more like 50.  They go a lap or two before a spin or flip and as pointed out there are some drivers that probably don't even belong out there racing.

I think if there is any saving grace later tonight will be the best drivers and the racing will likely be better.  I think part of the draw of this event partially revolves around consuming large amounts of alcohol and seeing friends.  It's a week of racing in the winter when nothing else is going on.  I am looking forward to next weeks Wild Wings deal out west.  That should be a lot more entertaining unless someone is into flips.  That's not my thing and I much prefer a bigger wider outdoor track where they have a chance of going green to checkers.

When I win the Lotto (any day now!) I'll buy you a ticket & I bet you enjoy it.... wink

jason mcdougal's run through some of the alphabet soup made the whole week worth it for me.  i don't see how any race fan...or sports fan for that matter...wouldn't have enjoyed that.  it's a shame he got wrecked out of moving on even futher.

i hated bernal for wrecking him...but you can't blame him for doing everything he could to keep moving on as well...and he seemed like a class act aftewards.  straight up admitted it was stupid and they said he went to mcdougal and apologized.  i'll root for either guy if i ever seen them in pa.

Set the bar so high that absolutely everything else on dirt is just soooo boring.

I haven't enjoyed one night of the Chili Bowl.

Its just made me appreciate the fact that Volusia is only a few weeks away.

I think you are a little to critical.  I watch alot of WOO shows and the front row wins almost every heat race.  It is a joke to start quick time on the pole.  Another problem for some viewers is that they know all the WOO drivers.  In 315 midget drivers you might know of 15.  You are not as interested because you do not associate with drivers.

Live here in Knoxville about 3 blocks away and spend most Saturday nights at the Track, so many negative comments and do not understand.  I personally with the virus viewd the Chili bowl for week's as a get away from the politics / pandemic etc.  I truly just vegitated and enjoyed every night - lets start smiling and being nice a little more.

Just keep entertaining with the race sites - thanks You

To me the best racing is winged 410s or 360 on a 1/4 bullring track! Luckily I live in CA and we have lots of bullring tracks and hopefully we can go to races this year!

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!
