The track that would most benefit from a series is the Grove I am sure you could get at least 10 cars to commit to a 25 race schdule using all the big shows ,with Speedweek as a centerpiece as the All Stars do if Selinsgrove ran most of their races on Sunday Lincoln would only have to give up maybe one night same with Portand that might convince a few guys to stay home (3z,07 and maybe someone would come to Pa. instead of leaving.
With Heffner already at two tracks ans Gobrecht at two tracks they are already competing against themselves for the $$$$.

Other than speedweek, I don't think you will see Selinsgrove racing on Sundays. It hasn't been too successful for them in the past, and from what I heard the all-stars offered them a Sunday date to make up for the loss of the Nace memorial and they declined. I was thinking that if anything, maybe they could get the Grove to give up a few Friday nights and let Selinsgrove try running 410's on those dates since the Grove is the track that's struggling the most to get cars and fans for their weekly shows. Lincoln and Port seem to be doing well. I'd say without a doubt, Port is the most successful track in central PA and while that is a good thing, it's also come at the expense of Selinsgrove as more and more teams/fans/sponsors from the area have decided to drive/tow an extra hour to Port. You can't blame them but that's just the way it is when you have 2 similar tracks in such close proximity competing for a decreasing number of teams and fans. Someone's gonna lose out.
Aside from making the track smaller and keeping 360's/358's and SLM's as the weekly headliners, which unfortunately doesn't appear to be in the plans, I'd say a limited schedule of big shows and rotating divisions(working with other tracks/series) is about the only thing they can try right now. If successful, it might keep the place open for a few more years. Making the track smaller, however, would also give them another option to try - wingless. Right now they won't schedule any wingless divisions because they feel the track is too dangerous for it.
I do like the idea of a rotating track central PA 410 series with a nice point fund and good purses, but I honestly don't see that happening. Maybe if someone puts up a whole lot of money to make it happen. We can dream I guess.
