PORT-A-COOL® TO SERVE AS TITLE SPONSOR OF TEXAS WORLD DIRT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP

FORT WORTH, Texas (January 14, 2012) by DarinShort.com - Port-A-Cool® and Texas Motor Speedway have agreed to terms for the international portable cooling unit company to serve as title sponsor for the upcoming Texas World Dirt Track Championship at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track.

The Port-A-Cool® World Dirt Track Championship will be held March 2nd-3rd with hundreds of competitors vying for prestigious championships in the Modified, Limited Modified and SUPR Late Model divisions. Port-A-Cool® also sponsored the 2011 U.S. National Dirt Track Championship at Texas Motor Speedway’s Dirt Track.

“Port-A-Cool® is extremely pleased to be part of Texas Motor Speedway's family of sponsors, and this world-class motorsports venue continues to be an ideal fit for us” Port-A-Cool® Vice President of U.S. Sales Jeff Lloyd said.

He adds: “Our units are extremely successful in areas that are not conducive to air conditioning such as garages and workshops so we are catering to our audience. We think that Port-A-Cool® units could also be very beneficial to these types of racers that work out of their own home garages or have small shops where air conditioning may be impractical.”

Port-A-Cool® units are portable, evaporative cooling units offering versatile options for effective cooling where air-conditioning is unavailable, impractical or cost prohibitive. Port-A-Cool® units require only tap water and 115v of electricity and perform at a fraction of the cost of air conditioning. They deliver air flow up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than surrounding air.

Port-A-Cool® units are available in four fan-blade sizes, plus two centrifugal fan models that disburse cooled air over areas up to 4,000 square feet.

Port-A-Cool® is also offering a very 'cool' bonus to each of the three Texas World Dirt Track Championship winners: The Late Model, Modified and Limited Modified A-feature winners on Saturday March 3rd will receive a Port-A-Cool® Cyclone 3000® - a value of $849 each!

The Port-A-Cool® Cyclone 3000® centrifugal air delivery system provides 700 square feet of temperature cooling, in a portable and small footprint design.

The Port-A-Cool® headquarters is located near the Texas/Louisiana border in Center, Texas.

On-track action for the Port-A-Cool® Texas World Dirt Track Championship will begin Thursday, March 1st, with practice for all three divisions beginning at 6 p.m. CT. The practice session will be closed to the public. Heats for the Modifieds and Limited Modifeds will run Friday, March 2nd, and the championships will be decided Saturday, March 3rd. Racing will begin at 6 p.m. CT both nights. Grandstand tickets will be $10 on Friday and $15 on Saturday. Parking on both nights is free.
