I'm building a ASCS 360 wetsump engine using a Canton pro pan, anything special i should know about a wet sump sprint car engine ?

Your initial costs are lower, but you will wish you had a dry sump when it kicks a leg out of bed. Theres just not enough volume of oil to sustain the high RPM and workload of a sprint car motor for as long as needed race after race. We have a group here called the Challenge Cup based out of Prescott, Arizona. Most of them run wet sump motors as it is a limited class that basically uses a motor similar to IMCA. Maybe track them down and give them a call.
