I am setting the valves on my 305 which has hydruailic lifters and roller tip rockers.I'm unsure of the "correct" method but what i did is go down the firing order, getting each cylinder at top dead center.I tightened the rockers down just so the roller tips could move across the valve tip.From what I understand, they should be set at 0 valve lash.Can anyone please explain the correct method to adjusting these types of valves? thanks, ron cubic

Your on the right track. When you tighten it down like you said you were, go a 1/2 turn more and that will be sufficient enough.
