I have attended the WOO show at the Arizona Speedway in San Tan Valley, AZ twice. Both times the rocks and dirt thrown up into the grandstand was so severe that it near impossible to watch the races. Anyone else experience that there?

Seen 4 USAC 410 shows at San Tan and not had any rocks thrown at us, but wing 410 car is a different animal.

Sounds like a good place to not go to the races.

The only problem i had was getting a seat at the WOO race last year
the placed was packed...standing room only. Took my son and my grandson
we left early. with one way in and one way out getting to and from the place isn't easy

Rocks? ouch....
But dirt clods can be fun! A couple of years ago I went to USAC Midgets at little Montpelier raceway. My Hoosier buddy insisted on sitting on turn 4, bottom row. I went up to the top row, which wasn't that high anyway, little wooden bleachers like a HS football field. Dirt clods galore... guy next to me was using his seat cushion like a shield, was blocking my view, so i stood up & realized that all the clods were hitting below my waist... no problem. Full moon, great racing, couldn't stop laughing!

Ai DesMoines, Ia there were bleachers in the out side of the corner for pit crews. One of our pit crew guys was standing on the top row when a clod the size of a football hit him sqaure in chest and knocked him out of bleachers. I doubt if the clod was that big but probably looked like it as it flew thru air.
