Hello All,

My dad and I are going to Tere Haute and Haubstadt this weekend.  I've never been to either race track.  I experience a physical disability and use a wheelchair.  I am able to get out of my chair and climb the stands with assistance.  does either track have accessible seating?  I like to be up high where I can see not on the ground.  Suggestions?

Thanks!

You might want to ask here as well. Mostly a non wing site, with a lot of information both tracks.

Have  a great time with your dad. We lost our dad two years ago and badly miss going to races with him.

I agree on both points.

Indiana Open Wheel is a very active site and there will be a lot of people with knowledge on both tracks.

I lost my dad 14 years ago, and I still miss him.

Terre haute has a handicap platform/deck in between the main covered stands and the bleachers, however this is maybe 4' off the ground, and near the fence. i've sat there with my dad, not the best view. Been a few years since I've been there, but I don't recall there being any handrails in any of the isles to assist in getting into the stands. From the handicap seating area, you can then get into the covered stands in a wheel chair via a walkway. bring you ear plugs if you sit under the covered stands, very loud.

PER NSSN's web site--USAC has cancelled their Friday night races, WoO's saturday night races are still a go.
