Brad Sweet's victory celebration was very disappointing. I am sure that WOO, World Racing Group, NAPA Auto Parts and KKR are very upset with Sweet and his ghetto mouthed celebration. Sweet's greatest victory and largest payday was tainted and will forever be a thorn in his career at this level of sprint car racing. He obviously isn't mature enough to grasp the totalaty of his accomplishment. He stated earlier this week that Schatz has competition now ! Really Brad, how many total victories and WOO Championshipos do you have under your belt ? I am sure that Schatz doesn't feel threatened by you or your mouth ! Schatz is a class act, like most of the guys out there. In closing, I sincerely hope that the phones will be ringing at WOO, World Racing Group, NAPA Auto Parts and KKR concerning Sweet's verbage in his post victory interview. But then again, we'll see if the money rules over the whole deal.

1. He said "shit"---------and said it after the Nationals, which I have always thought was kind of a tribute to Jason Johnson's celebration in 2016----which by the way, everyone loved if I'm not mistaken. If you're mad at him for mouthing "fricken" then I think you are a little over the top.
2. He said Schatz has some competition now. He is correct. He does. The 49 car is better----much better-----than the 15 right now. Can you tell me where he is wrong? Brad is a likeable guy. Had he made the statement with 2 wins, and a 10th place points standing, and was a bulldozer on the track, I can see your point. He did not. He's leading the points and is tops in wins and has won the 2 biggest paying races in the last year and does it all clean. He has bragging rights right now.
Chill out.

I was likewise disappointed with his choice of words. I enjoy listening to DV with the kids and didn't appreciate them associating that with the sport I enjoy and hope they will also. Not classy. I understand he was extremely excited but he needs to remain professional. On one hand they ate a bunch of dirt trackers but once the sport becomes a business and professional you are required by morals and expectations to rise up with it. It's a great stain on everything 49ish.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Agree the language was unacceptable. Didn’t like his interview after his heat win either, he clearly jumped the start but didn’t understand why they called it back. From my vantage point he jumped the restart after the red flag as well. On the other hand Logan and Brent Marks were very professional in their interviews. Brad was way out of line and owes all fans, his sponsors and his team an apology at the very least.

Wow, what a crybaby. Like you never heard the word shit before. Some people find the dumbest things to be offended about. Plus he censored himself on the other "ghettoed mouthed" profane word. He said we won 175 mother fffff......nn grand! And then people cheered.
As far as maturity goes, he is my 3yr old sons favorite driver. Every time we go to the pits after an outlaws race Brad has always dropped everything that he is doing. Last year at 4crown we got to the pits too late and the 49 rig was leaving. Brad saw my 3yr old son crying in his Sweet shirt & got out of the mother fffff....nn rig to sign his new t shirt, give him a hug, and take a picture. Who does that shit???? Oops sorry I said shit. I would say he is very mature, great for the sport, great for NAPA, and a great role model. I can simply be a father and tell my son to not use certain words that are said by others
As for Schatz, I'm sure they are paying more attention now and is a little more worried about him than others. Quite a few big paydays that 49 has taken from him. I would say they are starting to get frustrated by him

LOL if this isn’t old man yells at clouds I don’t know what is. Who gives a shit. He said some words, it’s really not a big deal. In fact his emotion and passion after the race gained me as a fan, and many others. I’m sure NAPA isn’t worried, considering they retweeted the interview last night, that the WoO themselves posted.

Here's the blind person. Absolutely did not jump his heat start and it wasn't even close. Good on him for calling WoO out on it as well.

1. If WoO and WRG want to censor their drivers, they can do so...but I am pretty sure the fan base will cry 1st Amendmant. But for the most part these things are decided by sponsors and when your main sponsor is an Energy Drink and not Lucky Charms, unlikely to happen. (most dirt track fans probably don't agree with too many rights being taken away)
2. Dirtvision probably has the ability to censor language, if they don't I am sure they can figure it out. But it is Pay Per View content, so they aren't regulated by any FCC standards. (Like Sirius/XM Radio)
3. NAPA has their right to pull sponsorship and probably would have addressed the situation last August if they felt the need. They pulled their sponsorship from MWR in NASCAR after they felt MWR cheated to help Truex get into the chase. (Truex was not the one whose actions were in question)
4. KKR - I find it unlikely that KKR has a problem with this or they would have addressed it in other situations.
As for your personal money, you can choose not to spend it on either Sprint Car racing...which I hope is not your choice or on Brad Sweet and KKR. Buy a Schatz tshirt.

He was just really excited. He just won $175,000. It didn't bother me one bit. People are way too sensitive. It was just genuine excitement. I don't want that gone from our sport like it is virtually every other sport including many forms of motorsports.

How about the Jason Johnson tribute at Knoxville in 2017? They replayed his victory lane audio clips-----------did not censor for a crowd full of kids.
Who cares? Get over it. My kid's school takes them to musicals and plays with language and adult situations and it's called "culture."

Shit and fricken are what the fuss is all about???? Who the hell cares. He's extremely happy. $175,000 makes anyone happy as hell. A couple words like that might come out of my mouth when I get that HAPPY. Pretty low key words if you ask me.
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

Not blind. Just the way I and a lot of people saw it , including the officials. You’re opinion is different and in the end it doesn’t matter how you or I saw it.

You can say shit on television now AND dirtvision censored the f word so I dont see what the problem is. Sweet showed raw emotion that I hope we get more of from more drivers. I'd be dropping f-bombs all day if I had just won $175000!
