Was the race worth the price of the ticket?

Doggone right it was! After they got the yellows outta their system it was a great race. Price of ticket wasn’t any different than any other WoO race I’ve seen in the last few years. And the Late Model race was pretty sporty after the WoO as well.

DakotaDude talked to a friend that was there that said the crowd wasn't very good, is that your take?

I was there and thought they had a really nice crowd the main grandstand was pretty  full. Couldn’t see the one to west.

Watched it on Dirt Vision..Wasn't as exciting as at River Cities small track but was okay..Too slick and dry by the looks of it..Hobby stocks, 5 cars in a feature, waste of time and tearing up the track..Glad I didn't drive the seven hours to Aberdeen to watch..Turned off after the WOO feature..

I’m not sure what crowd you were looking at but I had no one sitting around me or even the 3-4 rows in front of me and that was main grandstand..  Worst crowd I’ve seen at an outlaw race.

Boy I don't know what they saw or the other poster on this topic, but I thought the crowd was great....try and find on Facebook from db3 the video of any of the infield videos and you'll see it was at minimum 3/4 full. Not a sellout but bear in mind forecasts all week showed 60-70% chances of rain all day long on Wednesday.  Probably one of the ti es the weatherman killed some ticket sales.  Didn't rain u til we were on our way west home , and when I mean rain, holy crap did it rain buckets. To the dude that said I. This post it was worst attended WoO race, he couldn't be more wrong. I guess fake news has infiltrated Hoseheads, imagine that.

I'll agree, Hobbys (or pure stocks as they are called at BCS) were a waste of time, but I'd also argue that 5 Hobbys didn't tear up the track either. And, while I know that this is a sprint car board and they are my first love of racing, but if you switched off the tube or left the stands after the WoO race and didn't watch the Tri State Late models ya missed a helluva treat.  One caution and crazy lapped track racing. Sometimes we aren't the oinly game in town that can put on a show.

Sorry, but i completely disagree with that assessment. I was section B main grandstand to the right of the flagstand about 6 rows from the top and could see all but the general admission areas well and all I saw was tops of heads with the exception of the areas below.  Ran to the concessions and pisser a couple times throughout the night and each time I thought it was a damn nice crowd for a sprint car race in Late Model Country.

You must have started drinking too soon to realize the crowd was a wash out. You didn’t walk by section D and see It was over half empty? I’ve been to thousands of sprint races and this crowd was a joke.

1. I never touched an adult beverage there.

2. I’ve been to a ton of sprint car races to since I became a fan in mid 80’s, but i Cannot understand how that makes a hill of beans difference but whatever.

3. If I knew how to post pics I would as it would prove my point since you obviously need proof.

4. You are wrong.

5. Is The sky blue in your world.
