Not many tips needed, seats seem to be all good, the only issue is TRAFFIC!!! Not sure where you'll be coming from, but driving from L.A. is awful. Leave early & avoid rush hour like the plague
My cousin lives in San Juan Capistrano (South of L.A.) & it was actually a pleasant drive from Perris to her house & back, thru Cleveland (?) State Park, but that was a Sunday afternoon.... I was gonna visit her Saturday but was too stressed out from first drive to even attempt it (LA to Perris took me 3 hrs. to go 75 miles, & i was cheating, got in restricted lanes when traffic came to a dead stop. Found out later it was a $400 fine, I was lucky I didn't get caught....)
Its a good show!
Oh yea, "tri- tip steak sandwich" is really good too

You might want to post this on the SCRA fan board. SoCal fans might see it there.
Perris is a good track and a great facility. Oval Nationals are the highlight of the year and worth the trip. The racing is nearly always great. Any seat at least a few rows up is fine. A general admission ticket is all you need. But keep in mind that everything at Perris is pricey, especially compared with tracks in other parts of the country.
Agree with revjimk on traffic. Always assume that it will take forever to get to the track, and then add an hour.
