I'm planning on going to 4 of the USAC midget races in Pa. coming up in early August. I'm familiar with Path & BAPS, but haven't been to Linda's or Lanco. Somebody was telling me at Pa. Speedweek that one of them was great & the other was crappy. But I fergit which was which...
Could somebody straighten me out on this? There is another fun event I could be doing one of those days....

USAC midgets only have four races scheduled for their eastern swing. The two tracks you haven't been to yet are Lindas speedway which races on Friday, and Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway also known to most as Lanco which runs Saturday. I visited both of those tracks for the first time last year. I like both places but Lanco seemed a bit racier and Lindas is not crappy at all, both tracks are smaller than Path Valley. Lanco offers an earlier admission ticket at an extra price which allows you to get your seat an hour sooner than regular general admission and also allows you to visit the pit area before the races. Get the early admission ticket and go into the pits and chat with the car owners and drivers you'll be glad you did. Go to all four races while you are here if you can, midgets seldom disappoint at any of these tracks. Safe travels!
