Two $2,000/win Bullring Ovals Kick Off 2018 Sprint Car Bandits Series March 23-24!

Mesquite TX (03/09/18) by DarinShort.com. The 2018 NCRA Sprint Car Bandits (SCB) series presented by Blaine's Motor Supply will fire up with two exciting events, both on 1/4 mile 'bullring' ovals: Heart O' Texas Speedway in Waco (Friday March 23rd, 7:30pm) and 105 Speedway in Cleveland, Texas (Saturday March 24th, 6pm – NOTE early start time!). A full field of quality 360C.I. sprint car teams from throughout the region are expected each night.

Each event will pay $2,000 to the 25-lap feature winners, $1,000 for second place and pays down generously to $300 to start each event (see below for complete breakdown). All non-qualifiers or non-starters will each receive $100. There is no entry fee, no series membership fee and just a $15 nightly draw fee. Drivers should go to www.SprintCarBandits.com prior to arrival for complete rules and procedures information.

For Heart O' Texas Speedway information, please click www.HeartOTexasSpeedway.com and note their address is 784 N McLennan Drive Waco, TX 76640 (just north of town right off of I-35); track phone is 254-829-2294. Action fires up at 7:30pm on March 23rd.

105 Speedway is located at 1288 Fostoria Road in Cleveland, TX 77328. Just take the Hwy 105 exit off I-69 in Cleveland, then head west for just a couple of miles, then turn north once you reach Fostoria Road. The track is located up the road about a mile on the right side of the road. On race day, the track phone number is 281-592-0905. Click www.105SpeedwayRacing.com for the track website. The first green flag on March 24th is slated for 6pm, so please make plans to arrive early.

25-lap SCB feature race payback for each of these events: $2,000, $1,000, $600, $500, $400, $390, $380, $370, $360, $350, $340, $330, $320, $310, $300, $300, $300, $300, $300, $300. $100 for non-qualifiers or non-starters. No entry fee or series membership fee; $15 draw-in fee.

Note all sprint car teams that sign in will draw for heat race starting positions, regardless of their engine C.I. displacement, and will receive passing points to determine their straight-up from points feature race starting position. All drivers make sure to read the posted rules at the series website prior to heading to the track.

We would like to thank the sponsors of the Sprint Car Bandits series: Blaine's Motor Supply, Rodd Hanna's Air Performance, A&M Glass Service, Palm Harbor Homes, Kustom Craft Exhibits, Gen-Tech at FixYourGenerator.com, Mow Time in Farmersville, RockAuto.com, Pro-Tech Service Co., Scott Baylor Racing Engines, American Elevator Technologies, South Dallas Battery & Electric Co., Gary Floyd Homes, Utility Trailer of Dallas, Inc. and the SCB points fund is sponsored by Smiley’s Racing Products & Hoosier Tire Southwest.

With each SCB sponsor announcement, the series can continue to implement one of its primary missions, and that is adding to the already excellent competitor purses. If you noticed, the SCB 2016 minimum guaranteed purse was $1,200 to win and $300 to start - yet every event paid more than that. Our 2017 purses never fell below $2,000 to win and $300/start at any event - all due to these sponsorship commitments! Our goal is to continue with the same plan for the 2018 season.

If your business is interested in getting involved with the SCB series, please contact Mary Lang directly at: [email protected] or by calling 469-474-8234. There are effective programs available for all sizes of budgets.

The SCB series has a unique rules package that allows teams to use their current equipment (especially in the engine compartment) yet curbing nightly tire expense...which helps equalize the competition, with teams of varying budget sizes.

That rules package certainly has the vote of many of the drivers in the DFW area, as 70 competed with the series in 2017.

Between the lower operating cost of the SCB series and the addition of sponsor funds into nightly purses, it is allowing more area race tracks to book events - which all translates into DFW area fans getting to see quality sprint car race at a lower grandstand ticket price.

When you combine those components with lower nightly competitor operating purses, it all equals one thing: the new Sprint Car Bandits series!

Click www.SprintCarBandits.com for the latest in series news - including the brand new event flyers for Heart O' Texas (March 23) and 105 Speedway (March 24). You can also reach the SCB on Facebook, at www.Facebook.com/SprintCarBandits

GEN-TECH Jackpot “Generates” $1,000 Cash for Sprint Car Bandits Race Teams on Opening Weekend, March 23-24

Leander, TX (3/13/18) by DarinShort.com.  GEN-TECH, AKA www.FixYourGenerator.com is a long-time supporter of auto racing, and especially sprint car racing, as sponsor of the www.lang14.com NCRA Sprint Car Bandits (SCB) two-time series champion Michael Lang.

GEN-TECH services and sells generators throughout Texas through their co-op partner shops. They can handle all related generator applications for race car trailers, RV’s, homes, businesses, trailers; etc. GEN-TECH offers phone tech support, mobile repair (in many cases) and new generator sales.

Today, GEN-TECH is pleased to announce a new promotion, called GEN-TECH Jackpot Cash. The program will be in effect at the opening weekend of the Sprint Car Bandits Friday, March 23rd at Heart-o-Texas Speedway near Waco, and on Saturday March 24th at 105 Speedway in Cleveland Texas.

It’s easy and here’s how the GEN-TECH Jackpot Cash promotion will work:

-       $1,000 in cash will be awarded to SCB competitors that compete in both events (Waco and Cleveland) from GEN-TECH.

-       There is nothing for SCB drivers to do, other than compete in both of these events to be eligible.

-       After draw-in on Saturday night, the names of the SCB drivers that signed in to race on both nights (competed at Waco and Cleveland) will have their draw-in numbers put back in the hopper.

-       From those remaining names, four drivers draw numbers will be randomly drawn back out from the hopper, and those four drivers will each equally split the $1,000 GEN-TECH Jackpot Cash, which equates to $250 each…regardless of their performance at either event!

-       The GEN-TECH Jackpot Cash winners will receive their $250 immediately after having their name drawn on Saturday night in the pit meeting, and GEN-TECH company founder Fred Summers will present each winner with their check.

-       There is no membership, registration or any other requirement for SCB sprint car teams to be eligible for this promotion.

-       In the event either of these two events fall to weather (rain out), then the second night of the promotion will roll over to the next SCB event of the season, which will be held on March 31st at Superbowl Speedway near Greenville, TX.

The Sprint Car Bandits series would like to thank GEN-TECH for their continued support of the series and of sprint car racing the past several seasons, and we’re thrilled to bring this new promotion to the area race tracks.

GEN-TECH is also seeking qualified service/sales individuals to become part of their growing co-op shop network. Visit www.FixYourGenerator.com for more information and contact information to connect with Fred Summers, company founder. You can also talk with Fred at each of these Sprint Car Bandits events.
