I did not stay down this tear but saw good racing last year looking at the results i am curious why the names Hodnett, Wolf and Hefertee dont appear. Are these races ASCS POINT RACES if they are Hefertee should be there and Hodnett ran better in 360 then 410 last year and struggled last week.Wolf runs alot of 360 races in the 5w just wondering why they are not there cant find resuls other than feature finish and heat winners. .

Apparently they are not ASCS races, or at least the ASCS National season kicks off at Devils Bowl on March 16th according to their website.   I'm assuming that's probably why you didn't see Hafertepe anyway.   Not sure about Wolfe or Hodnett.   Hafertepe is defending his ASCS championship in a team car to Alex Hill as far as I know.

The field looks a lot smaller this year compared to years past. I was wondering if they cut the purse or something. Can't find much writing or video either, it's a shame. This used to be one of the top 360 events in the country.

For being the opening 360 event of the year it has turned out to be a nothing burger and thats to bad. Not one ASCS driver on the podium for all 3 nights shows me that the talent level is not what it was.

Sam rang his bell in a crash opening night and sat the rest of the weekend out...

Sam Hafertepe, Wayne Johnson, Seth Bergman were there and probablly the rest of ASCS felt they wouldn't be competitive with Mitch Smith, Terry McCarl, Tim Shaffer and Thomas Kennedy

Same old story, sad but true - 410 drivers and former 410 drivers take all the loot.

In the past this race paid $10,000, even $14,500 to win.  This year it was $2,000 to win and $200 to start.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Prelims paid 2k to win but final night still paid 10k to win.

You answered your own question...maybe they don't want to be relegated to running Selinsgrove for points by looking better in a 360?

The only Outlaw guy that had permission was Sides. He ended up hurting 2 engines. The races paid 2k, 2k & 10k.

The car count was down for sure. But most of the folks had been down there for 2 weeks already & this is a tough race to win.

The racing however was pretty good.
