This past Saturday I attended the Lou Blaney Memorial festivities and race.  It was an awesome event for a true legend of our sport.  During the benefit auction for the Alzheimer's Association, I purchased a pair of Rico Abreu driving shoes.  I did not know that I was not supposed to sell these shoes.  I am a college kid that buys and sells racing memorabilia to help pay for his racing.  I am transitioning from mini sprints to winged 305 sprints. I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart, if people were hurt by my actions.  I care so much about the history of open wheel racing, and it kills me that I might have done anything to damage the closest thing to my heart, sprint car racing.  Dale and Dave were and still are two of my favorite drivers to watch wheel a sprint car.  I will be keeping these shoes as a great collectible from one of the best drivers in all of sprint car racing.  I will be back for years to come at the Lou Blaney Memorial and Sharon Speedway.  It was one of the best races/racetracks I have ever seen.  I'm glad I could attend such a great event and fundraiser.

So... let me get this straight... You paid money for a pair of shoes.  I don't see what the big deal is.  You paid money, which was then donated to charity.  The charity got its money.  What you do wih an item that you bought is entirely up to you.  Thats capitalism with a capital C.

I forgot to mention this in my last post.  Good luck in your transition to 305's.  I hope all goes well.

Yeah, see no problem reselling what you paid for if it was an auction and you were the highest bidder. If anyone was mad over that, well, that's their problem and they could have outbid you to stop it from happening.

I seen your previous post and the commotion it caused ! After reading your  apology I can't help but think that you are a high character kid ! I don't see an issue with you selling anything that you have purchased !  If there were more people that acted the way you have in response to the asshats on here, this site and planet would be a helluva lot better !

Your right Mr. Moody  in what you say about Sharon Speedway it  is one of the nicest tracks around , some real thought was given when it was re-built by the Blaney's and partners .
