"My first intent was to convince Jason [Meyers] to run it," Johnson said. "He invited me out to his place — great hospitality — and after a while, I realized I was being selfish.
"Not only is he a two-time World of Outlaws champion, but he also has a balanced life. He wakes up, goes to work, comes home and is a good husband and a father. Once I saw that, I changed my focus because I didn't want to take away from his family."
