who's going? any predictions? hopes? desire to meet up & put a face to a screen-name? this is quite possibly my favorite night of the year, each year. the closest WoO race to my home. think I'm gonna sit in the pits this year.

I sit in the pits every year always more entertainment. Walking around watching them wrench on cars and talking with drivers and crews, plus great views of the racing. Hopefully the rain stays away and we can have a great night of racing.
yeah, no kidding on the rain. I'm gonna be really bummed if this gets rained out. I'm thinking maybe I will get there early & try to snag a few seats toward the top of the pit grandstand. I hope they will be serving beer in the pits again this year! where my other WI hoseheads at?!

Pussies sit up top. Best place to sit is bottom few rows coming out of 4. You really get a feel for the battle. Feels like Saldana is gonna knock your beer over.
I'd like to put some screen names to faces. I am supposed to be heading to Indy Saturday morning. But if weather is not looking too good down there I will be sticking around for the Woo show. Let me know if anyone decides to meet up!
I agree best race of the year in this area. I heard Brian Brown is coming up. I would assume Tim Keading and Jason Solwold would come up. Hey Mother Nature STOP Raining...
Dirt is for racing, asphalt is for the parking lot.

I'm wondering what Kyle Larson has on his schedule for saturday. the nationwide race is friday this week, I believe. the last few years the races have been great. I'm sure any local remembers Mike Reinke's performance until mechanical gremlins. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see an IRA guy finish on the podium for the A main.

I will go to LaSalle on Friday and remain undecided on Beaver Dam. I might just stay back and film at Wilmot Saturday instead. With all the rain outs at Wilmot I don't have much recorded there yet this season. As far as Sunday at Cedar Lake if I can find someone to split the gas cost I might go there also.

I know it is only Wednesday, but it is still raining, and I don't see how in the world Wilmot could run after all of this. I want Wilmot to run every week, but this rain is just ridiculous. At this rate, the river may wash the track away.

Hope they get this in. James McFadden from Australia should be there and he is as good as they get. Track will really suit him as well.
That's awesome! Dude can really get around a dirt track. I believe I saw him at Knoxville & I was impressed. Anybody remember a few years ago when we got dumped on & they had to pack the track for 3 hours, & the A-main didn't get started till super late (11?). Track ended up being crazy fast by the end of the night. I should mention, if you've never been to 'Lil Beaver' & are contemplating coming, do so. It's definitely an upper echelon facility, as far as dirt tracks go.

I was there for that one. They didn't start heat races until like 9:30 or 10. It was a bad fast track. The only unfortunate thing about this place is the track record will never fall. It was set when they actually had good clay down. They swapped like 3-4 years ago and it just hasnt been the same. If I remember right, last year they couldn't even come within 1.5 seconds of the track record. They still put on a good show there and its worth the money!
Won't be able to make it on Saturday night, but hope they have a good turnout. J-Mac being there is a great bonus! I'm guessing they'll have a mid 30's car count, which isn't bad. I think the last time I saw that track actually have a heavy surface was that Outlaw show that went way past curfew a few years ago. Lately it seems like its been bone dry during qualifying, but then they work on it as the night goes on and it turns out good.

Very dilusional Larry. There won't be an IRA guy I the top 10. And just give the Kyle Larson dream up. Those fools had you thinking he was actually gonna come to Oshkosh. You were probably all hyped up to see Kenny Scnrader like so many other tools that went. I told them that he wouldn't do shit.

I don't agree at all. The old track was faster but the racing not as good. The racing has been fantastic there since they changed the surface. I honestly couldn't care less about track records and watching sprint cars go fast around hooked up tracks with no passing.
The new track surface slicks off and gets real racey. Last year it didn't even take rubber in the A and the dust was minimal. The race was great all the way to the end.
I wait on the drive up there until Sat morning after looking at the forecast / radar.

It would just be nice to see a track that isn't rolling dust by the end of qualifying for once. Still put on a great show! Just bring some goggles
I'll be there. Right behind the flag stand, chair backs 2nd from the top we have the 4 aisle seats Section C Row B1-4.
It's right by the beer stands, great place to meet up by the stairs going down to the flag stand. I'll be there in the Sammy hat & shirt, purple sun glasses. 1st mod heat after qualifying.
