A questionable slide job by Kertscher takes out Balog on a geen-white-checkered restart at 141. Should Billy have lifted? He junked a 3rd car and this one was a loaner. Cant wait to see the video on this one.
I tell it like I see it.

I was not there, but seeing as though # 80 has been the bridesmaid quite a bit lately, was it just a racing deal? If it is good enough for Sammy, why not?

This slide job was right up there with Sammy's and McMahan. I agree lets see the video so I can get another look. I know some were saying Balog hit the wall first but I think that was only because the 80k was coming right at him.

Anyone hear that Balog is done for the year? I was told they are out of everything and he may run a midget for someone. Hope not.

Balog has already been running a midget a few times this year. The B2 gang just put out a press release on last weekends races and said they were planning on the IRA triple header this weekend. If they were done can't imagine they would have said they plan on running next weekend. I know he is out of cars and not sure how bad the loaner he had at 141 got hurt. Guess we will see if he pulls through the gates on Friday.

Not too questionable a slide job, no question it wasn't going to work. And no, Billy should not have lifted, he would have needed to hit the brakes with both feet to miss that 'slider'. You drive a sprint car by going as fast as you can, if you stand on the brakes, you can cringe and wait for the sound of the guy behind you crunching through your wing.
