I really don't want to go through the dealership to have it done so asking if any of you do this at your business.
My 15 yr. old just got his drivers permit and I asked him to go out and back the car into the driveway (unsupervised on my part - oopps). Anyhoot, I heard a "crash" and the basketball goal and went out (as he was coming in upset) and he nailed the basketball goal and knocked my right side mirror off.
Do any of you do work like that and if so, can you please email me how much it would cost to replace it?
Thank you kindly in advance. Now back to calming down my son.

Maybe you should let the boy drive for you in the celebrity race. No mirriors allowed. LOL
Did you ever consider, he might be trying to tell you something. Something like let's go racing Dad.

the unsupervised part works both ways. I could understand why one may decide to let someone give it a go alone kinda. sucks bout the mirror and the goal though. Man I'm not sure you have to go through a car dealership - there a hundreds of body shops around. In fact - find one that sponsors a race car - and give them your business. aside from wounded pride - glad he wasn't hurt.
But man I did the same thing when I was - well actually 15 as I was tryin to back out of a one way alley and got my bearings mixed up and sideswiped a fence - we took it to a body shop here in El Reno - I assume you could do this about anywhere - or in fact - look for and maybe get the part yourself - and with some help or somthin do it that way.
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a
wouldchuck could chuck would

I could help you with after market stuff down here at Mr. Pickup. O'Reilly's or Keith at Napa over on reno and May by the Fairgrounds would be your best bet. Come see me if you need some chrome covers for those mirrors though.
