WOW, that was a rough track. It was amazing that there was no big crash or any individual crash that anyone got hurt in. It looked like the 23S car crew was really pissed off at tearing up a car on that track just by running it there and no big crash.

I really feel bad for The Bloomsburg Fair board. They have spent a lot of money opening that track last year, Absolutely nothing has gone right for them between bad weather, the dust, rough track conditions, fighting with the neighbors and lack of attendence.

It was garbage last week for the 305's too. They really need to rethink the grader jockey they hired.

Sounds like the Allstars should have not listened to Steve O'Neal and scheduled a race elsewhere instead of Bloomsburg.  Just saying.  It sounds like everyone is learning there lesson this year.  It will be interesting to see what happens next year.

There are other tracks in PA that wanted the All Stars.  But couldn't get a date.

Plus only 19 cars. Bloomsburg is only 75 miles from Harrisburg.

Another case of tracks trying to horn in on 410 following of the regular tracks. These one off races have not worked well in most cases lately. With fuel, tire & parts issues and all the money races coming up in the next six or eight weeks teams and fans will be saving for them. There is no large fan base in that area. Keep in mind that fans around here don't have to travel 75 miles on a work night to see a race. I am not suprised that they are having neighbor issues with the track right in town with neighbors who have not been used to having races in many years.

I think the Bloomsburg configuration is too narrow to provide consistently good racing regardless of surface. If you look at Bridgeport, that track is perfect for modifieds and when they get it right for sprints, it's right up there with the best tracks in the US.

Even if Bloomsburg was smooth, I'm not sure it would ever be ideal.

I agree. After watching the video of the Allstars feature, I googled the track, expecting it to be a flat, quarter mile, gravel pit. Instead, it's a flat, long, half mile track that's very narrow and has funky corners that look like they were laid out in the dark.

Pretty sure former USAC driver and series official Levi Jones had a big say in the design and layout of the track when it was built two years ago. Drivers from all the series that have run there so far, from USAC Sprints & Midgets, Dirt Car Big Block Modifieds, The All Stars and even the World of Outlaw Late Models, say the turns need more banking. At this point I am not sure how much more money the Fair Board wants to invest to reshape the track? It is a shame, because the rest of the facilities are first class.

The track you are probably seeing on Google is the old horse track before they created the smaller track inside of that.  At least when I looked at Google Maps that was what I was seeing

You might be right. The google image of the configuration looks like something more in line with 1 horsepower racers.

This date was originally Grandview's date. The problem is Grandview's management  DOES NOT want their modifieds being shown on Flo Racing.  He wants the fans to pay in person to watch his cars. So, blame this venue change on Grandview itself.

Uh, what? They don't want to have a series that would probably pack the place because they don't want people staying home...?

Explains a lot about that place.
