Eagle Raceway for sale (type Eagle in the search box, it won't let me link direct for some reason)
One of what will probably be many more.
Is this heaven?
No, it's Iowa....Knoxville, Iowa.

Like they did with Jackson, I think someone could take this track over and do big things with it. Price tag is a little steep though...

From all what I've read on HH and the big entry numbers at this track, it seemed to me this track was a front runner in setting the precident on how to put on a race. Seemed like the fans and driver numbers were great.
So anyone can sell ,its their choice, their life etc. But would a new owner need to change much tk make the place successful?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

It also does a pretty decent haunted house business in the fall. Draws Lincoln and Omaha patrons. All I can think is they are leveraged pretty deep against it and bank is calling the loan based on not being able to make payments from lack of 2020 racing revenue thus far. Damn COVID.

Do you mean, " what THE heck does tk mean"? No need proof reading, you can assume 99.9% of race fans can understand the meaning from the context .
Also I'm very sure you meant to say "grammatical error", right? Grammar is a noun, as is error,, but when using a word to describe a noun you need to use an adjective not another noun.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Excuse me, but it appears you have used the dreaded 'double comma' after the word 'error'. We suggest that you either go back and correct the error, or just mellow out and enjoy life.
Let's talk about racing and not about grammer. (Yes- I know!)

Serious question- not picking on anybody- what does the reference to tk mean? Tim Kaeding? Does this refer to something that was changed in an earlier post?

I think Eagle could be big business for a specials-only format. Nebraska seems to draw for sprints and late models, so you could have all the big national tours there a couple of times per year.

Yes that seems extremely high. I-55 is not being advertised for sale but it could be bought for 1.6m as of a couple weeks ago.

First, this would be a very high price for Eagle given the land and the area around it. Great racetrack but also away from a majority of the areas.
Second, for anyone who thinks Roger Hadan is hard up for cash and is being forced to sell, that is just hilarious. There is a good chunk of family money and Roger has made good money at both the track and other business. He would be willing to sell at the right price, but this is just a way to put pressure on the Nebraska governor.
Husets- 9.4(Was offered for 5.8?)
Eagle-3.9
Deer Creek-2.59
I-55--1.6
Racetracks are getting more valuable every day! Of course none of them have actually sold....

Why doesn't Eagle have bigger shows? It's known as a great track, it has 2 decent sized cities nearby. You'd think it would be a place where big shows could do well.

So if Chuck was offered 5.8 million by someone or a group why didn't they go to the auction and buy it for 3.12 million?

Perhaps that party said "the hell with it" because at that point they didn't want to deal with the man? I bet most of us have been in that same mood at some point when dealing with a car dealer.
