I guess Gio Scelzi is the obvious answer, but we've got a few more that I think have serious potential. Buddy Kofoid, Robbie Price, and Devon Borden top my list from the west.

Would be curious to hear some names from the midwest and posse areas. What names should I be on the lookout for?

Logan Schuchart is the clear answer.  He finished a close 2nd at the King's Royal recently, and 2nd again this weekend at the Knoxville Nationals, coming from a 22nd starting position.  Had there been a caution he likely would have won it.

Kofoid and Gio.

Jaxx Johnson sometime in the future.

Would live to see Jacob Allen get a win.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Cole Duncan is an underrated driver here in Ohio that has shown a lot of potential racing on a fixed budget & his own car. Ran well at a Kings Royal a couple years ago, ran upfront at the 360 Knoxville Qualifying night, has some All Star wins, and some wins in PA.

Cory Eliason is another one that comes to mind who qualified for the Nationals this year, has made the Kings Royal the past couple of seasons, and has an Outlaw win

Spencer Bayston hopefully finds a ride soon as I think he has a lot of potential.

Carson Macedo is a driver that looks to be developing each year and has a ton of potential.

Matt Campbell, if he starts racing regularly again. Sadly, his father passed away unexpectedly early last year and has only recently returned. He won the feature at Lincoln this past Saturday. Was co-National 410 rookie of the year for 2016. Won his first Williams Grove 410 feature in Sept 2017 at the age of 19. Would be a great addition to the “posse” if he returns full time.

OMG. I had the same thought about Jaxx. In fact, seeing him this past week climbing on top of the 41 made me ask myself how many years before we see him in the 41... Really, it’s why I started this thread.

Reese Saldana will be racing a 410 by the year 2022 I bet.  Mild mannered and very nice young man. 3rd generation racer....its in his blood.

Agree, Matt can wheel - hes definitely suffered some personal life set backs recently but I think if he gets back at it regularly he can be one of the top guys in PA.

Jared Esh - definitely has picked it up recently.

Anthony Macri - Terrible luck this season but he has been fast enough to win most nights

Landon Myers - Another driver who has really picked it up this year

Sye Lynch - His KR and Nationals runs speak for themselves

Outside of PA

Buddy Kofoid of course

I would say Gio but I think we've already seen enough of him to know he is already one of the top guys anywhere he shows up.

Not sure how much he's driven sprints, but 16 Yr. old Zeb Wise is kicking ass with the Midgets. 3 POWRi wins so far this year & 2 with USAC, including out dueling Kyle Larson recently...

He's still not old enough for Sprints but Garrett Tatnell is racing karts and already helping on the Sprint Cars.  That would be my choice close to home if Forest Lake Rangers hockey doesn't side track him first.  That appears to be his other passion and this is called the state of hockey so you never know.

On the national scene I like how Oregon driver Tanner Holmes is video blogging on YouTube.  If he decides to stay with racing he looks like he could be another good one.

Another guy who has picked up the pace this year in central PA is Robbie Kendall. Kyle Reinhardt has looked pretty good in a 410 also. I 3rd Jared Esh. He has been very impressive the last few outings at Port. A driver I'd like to see more of in central PA is Logan wagner. I know the Zemco ride isn't a 100 race team anymore and their main focus is Port, but I miss seeing that iconic car at central PA's big races (at tracks other than Port).

From what I have seen of them racing in Ohio.

I'm sure I missed some.
