In a world gone mad with rainouts...

After last year's rainout-fest I fear we're staring down a similar situation to start this season. Figure I will keep track here. Feel free to pile on me for not remembering the old days when it was worse and you had to walk uphill both ways barefoot to school in the snow. And yes sir, I will get off your lawn.

Outlaws - 2

Weather - 3

Like it or not this will follow them all the way though California I predict. If they get more than 50% of the races in on the upcoming swing they will be lucky.

This sounds like a bet.

I will wager a Tshirt or other apparel of your choosing from Skagit Speedway vs the same from your local track that the Outlaws will defeat the Weather after Leaving Perris on March 30.

Deal?

Seems to me that the logical thing to do would be to schedule all the WoO races in areas that are experiencing drought conditions. wink

What an optomistic bunch!!!! How do you forecast the weather a month ahead of time? Or are you just making a wild guess? Looks like we have some meteorologists here.

You can tell an ass... but, you can't tell 'em much

Realistically you don't need a meteorological degree to say don't schedule a February WoO show in Texas.    You just need to be a Texan.   You wanna have races at Cotton Bowl, Lone Star, and Devils Bowl without the rain hitting any of them?   Easy, schedule them in June.    I knew as soon as I saw the schedule that the Cotton Bowl and Lone Star events would likely rain out.  They may or may not get the Devils Bowl race in April without rain, especially both nights.   And it just happens that most of us Texans are more than smart enough to tackle meteorology, at least we know that tonight it's gonna get dark anyway!

Sorry. I have been away from my computer for a few days. I'm not sure if we are on the same page but what I was saying is that they would be lucky to get more than 4 of the 8 upcoming California dates in. If you want to wager they will get more than that in I'm interested but the wager would have to be $$ since I don't wear t-shirts and I don't go to the races any more. I'm willing to gamble $50 they will get 4 or less if you are interested.

Outlaws take the lead, but watching last night and tonight has been brutal on DirTVision. I think it could have been more tolerable if they had taken the time to show the other class that I'm guessing they weren't allowed to broadcast. So much time looking at a screen of nothing but a parking lot full of haulers. Lame. Had no idea that was going to be the case. I appreciate Ross Wece's effort in walking though the pits with a camera, but I'm afraid it was a bit underwhelming.

PS Get off my lawn.

F me.  Winged Nation sent out this tweet.

If you want to watch the NASCAR K&N racing from @LVMotorSpeedway its FREE on @FansChoiceTV.

WTF? It was free, but DirTVision could show them? Why?

Stupis ass weather anyways. Drove through flurries today & supposed to be in the 50's with a chance of thunder with the storm tomorrow. They didn't actually say thunderstorm.

Outlaws charge back into the lead, but it was darn close as rain stopped the action during the heat races.

If you wanted to use nascar terms , which is really just borrowing terms from other sports, you might want to put a tie column in your spread sheet or overtime win or shoot out. Attempt percentage???

Maybe last night was an outlaw overtime win.

Woo 4 wins 4 losses and 1otw

Rain 4 wins 5 losses and 0 otw

But I cant keep that going all summer.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!
