I'd say as far as the Icebreaker is concerned, mother nature will claim her first win of the season. Looks like she's going to have another big year.

Well the forecast does not look the best for the icebreaker with the snow moving in. But based off of last year and what ive seen/heard: Gerard is supposed to be running for Mark Coldren with the All Stars from everything i know so im not sure theyll be out at the icebreaker.

Wilt I would not count on seeing until spring when the temps are warer based off their schedule last year

Same thing with Campbell

Macri has his cars ready and should be there as soon as the season starts just like last year

Kendall could be hit or miss based on temperatures

Not sure on any plans for Hogue

Bower and the Dietz 75 are two completely different cars. Dietz 75 is the Rick Lefever 5 car from last season Tyler Ross drove.

Brandon Rahmers 88 is ready to go.

The Rahmers are ready to go for Saturday, Robbie Kendall said they are planning on running the Icebreaker,  Macri will be there.   I would assume Campbell and Wilt won't be out until later in the year, but nof certain on that one.    I know Carl Bowser and Zearfoss said they both planned on running Lincoln's opener as well.

The snow today isn't the issue, it's the forecasted rain Saturday and Saturday night. Not looking good.

A good portion of today's snow will be gone by the end of tomorrow (50 deg. high). Followed by a 45 deg, and 40 deg day I have no doubts that the snow will be gone by Sunday. I don't think they will race Saturday due to the weather, however Sunday the rain clears in the morning and there is a high of 60 deg. I could see them running Sunday if the parking lot is even partially manageable. We have seen in the past when the Ice Breaker is held on a nice warm day it is a big time money maker, they have no guarantee of having any more 60 deg days for several weeks I think they will do whatever they can to take advantage of that. Not saying they will race this weekend for sure, but definitely don't think that it should be written off as impossible either.

Just like other years...until the grounds are solid enough to support parked cars without a fleet of tractors to pull everyone out, there will be no racing.

Watch forecasts for Melting...Then wind to dry it out.

Could we also devote a thread to how routinely terrible you are at spelling driver names that are readily available to you?

Will Steve Kinzer and Donny Shotz be there?

As a resident of the upper plains where racing starts about Mother's Day, I'm always jealous that Pennsylvania's racing season starts so early. About when does the season usually start, after all the early rain-outs?

In general, the past few years the Ice Breaker has happened on the weekend it is scheduled (the last weekend of Feb). We usually get through Feb, and March without many rainouts. Then when April rolls around we have a ton of rainouts, and also in early May then the weather usually starts to calm down after that. However, during the rainout season we have enough Sprint Car stuff going on here that you can usually still find a race if you try hard (last year when Lincoln rained out 7 times in a row I didn't miss any whole weeks between travelling to Port, Trail Way or wherever the PA Sprint Series, or Laurel Highlands Series were racing not to mention WG and BAPS/Selinsgrove).

Um, ok.

The only haters I see on this thread are directed at the weather(?) The internet has changed over the years. You have to be able to sperate the wheat from the chaffe. Good luck finding that other outlet. I haven't yet. Goodbye.

Murphy I think he was responding to this guy. He did butcher those names for sure, but who really cares aside from j20s?

That makes sense but I don't know of anywhere on the internet where you'd have a male dominated forum about sports that didn't have a bunch of people who act like Beavis and Butthead.

ps. I'm not from the area, so I don't know if they're spelled right or not.

No reason to quit posting. I think most of us realize that bitching about your spelling was unnecessary & dumb
