I've heard it too. The person who told me would definitely know. It's all but official the last I heard. Providing nothing goes south, this is GREAT news. The Leiby's and Alan Kreitzer did an amazing job with Lincoln for a lot of years and now the torch is being passed on to people who will continue to do the same.

It will be interesting if it happens. Alan is without a doubt the best promoter in the area. It will also be interesting to see if Fred stays on to take care of track prep. IMO Fred is a big reason Lincoln is so good. Probably as good as  Knoxville track prep.

Will be curious to see if Lincoln's longstanding reputation for never cancelling due to weather continues on.

Lincoln has been very good with getting the show in over my 7 yrs of weekly attendance. Last year was just brutal. I am hoping that new ownership might liven up their weekly schedule. Look at the diversity of Port Royal and Baps schedules. Lincoln has dropped thundercars, dropped Appl. Mountain Late Models before they folded. Dropped USAC wingless 410's, dropped USAC midgets. I like the Legands but 10 times a year? No WOO Late Models, ULML, no STSS, no imagination.

Every year the schedule has been pretty much a carbon copy of previous year just different date.

If ownership is changing, please guys, make Lincoln relevant again.

Sold, yes.  Bathrooms have an issue with the EPA.  Needs repair or totally rebuilt by seller or buyer.

Thundercars & Late Models no big loss, IMHO...

How about more Super Sportsmen, ARDC, or Micro Sprints?

By the way, Lincoln is still PLENTY relevant!

I would be surprised if the "New" Lincoln is not just like the old Lincoln.

More central pa legends, more micros and definitely more 305's.  I am surprised Lincoln doesn't drop the 358's and make the 305's the second division.   I mean the 305's race for peanuts and pad the back gate.  It is all about padding the back gate.

The 410s bring the crowd.   Every thing else is just a time filler and pit pass money.
