First off, I like Jason and have always rooted for him. Reading a magazine (Flat Out?) article years ago, I remember he (at the time) only had one crew member and himself out on the road-------and they would always be competitive and pulled off a few wins. However, not even sniffing the lead anymore and last night ends up in the C. Meanwhile, his 2nd car finishes runner up two nights in a row. I know it's Tim's home turf, but the same deal out at Knoxville as well this year.
More of an observation than criticism. His equipment is obviously competitive. A post after Nationals suggested taking two cars on the road next year and putting Tim in the seat. I'm thinking that could yield results. Not my money, just think it would be cool.

I agree, there’s so many good drivers out there that don’t have the most competitive cars. Jason as car owner, Tim as driver on the WoO tour or some other schedule of hitting all the big races would be cool.
It’s a bit like the 69k, Krietz was okay in that car but nothing like what Lance has done. TK could easily be a top 8 driver on the tour and contend for wins right off the bat.

TK is doing very well and I'm glad to see that. Having him at a show adds another excellent racer to the lineup. We were fortunate to have him here in the midwest the few years he raced here full time.

Jason is an awesome guy!! T.K. was on tour at one time not?? T.K. now versus then is the key, he even said it himself last week ten years ago he would have probably wadded up the car or cars. I don't know how jason does it but that would be cool with him and T.K. together on the road. No fun would be had after races in that camp. LOL
