Hey all,
I'm headed to Volusia for the three Outlaws shows coming up at the end of the week. It will be my first time there. Any places I definitely need to check out (the wife really likes stopping at cool places, to eat, or see or whatever). Also a quick question regarding weather. It looks like there will be a decent chance for rain on Sunday, do they pull the plug quickly there? The other nights I have the USCS at BRP as a backup plan, but Sunday the WoO is the only show in the state for Sprints it seems (if I absolutely had to I could go see the LOLMDS). I am hoping they realize everyone is there on vacation for the most part and will stay there until 3 AM if that is what the weather dictates. Either way it will be good to see some racing in Feb, with the weather here in PA who knows when Lincoln will be able to run.
Also, any sections to avoid for reserved seats?

I'm not about that Late Model life anymore.... lol. I've been converted to Sprint Cars. If I watch SLMs though the LOLMDS is what I want to see. Racing has been pretty good so far this season it seems!

1. St Augustine (America's Oldest City) is up the road on A1A. Lots of great eats and shopping.
2. Orlando (Disney) isn't too far away for a morning/early afternoon trip before the races.
3. Cape Canaveral (NASA). Go on a Tour.
4. Daytona International Speedway. Daytona USA. .25 USAC Midgets are racing there each day in the infield.
5. Daytona Beach Boardwalk, Main Street, and Beach Street for Food, Bars, Shopping.
6. A1A is my favorite street in the morning. Just go cruising and listen to Jimmy Buffet.
7. Scooter Rentals are my favorite pastime.
8. Best place to watch sprints at Volusia are in the infield at 1 and 2. $10's and you can drive your car straight up to the inside wall.
9. Shorts, flips flops during the day. Winter clothing at night.
10. Ocala is 53 miles from Volusia. In case of a random rain storm that Florida is known for.

If Ocala is your back up & the same nights as the WOO u will be disappointed as the 2 tracks are only 50 miles apart. Weatherman will win both nights.
