First of all  i don't want this to be totally negative, because there are alot of positives here too.

Pros

The Place " looks" great.

  fresh paint in the bathrooms

   parking lot is organized

   concesion stand  all cleaned up

   grandstands are very attractive.

The DUST is GONE!!!

the new clay is very, very racey (can't wait until the usac show in June)

Cons

The bathrooms are still small and leave little room for modesty(if you used them you know what i'm talking about)

the parking lot is organized but i think we lost some parking spots up close

If you drop anyghing while in your seat good luck trying to get it back.

SLOW SHOW... if your going to have a 30 min 20 lape legend car feature DONT take 15 mins to interview the top 3 finishers when you still have 2 more features to run.   Also what was the deal with the red flag to "line up the street stocks and let the trailers exit the infield"?   It took over 2 hours to run 3 features after the Super sportsmans finished!!!

PITTING IN THE INFIELD.    if this is going to happen every week there is no reason for me to come back.   Its why i don't go to Selisngrove Is why i don't go to Williams Grove....side note WG could fix part of this by just not letting the big haulers in the turns you wanna pull in with a semi park out back.

All this being said i never and still don't really care about the aesthetics of a place, its just character.   The dust was the only true problem i seen wih Susky, because you couldn't see.  The racing was always first rate.   I like the fact that they came in and spent some money  and polished the old girl up.  Now they just have to learn from opening night and improve from there.

I was there last night , yes there is alot of truth to what Mr. Wishbone  states , but they knew going into last night there would be some opening night bumps and bruises . Let me tell you Rome was not built in a day , so it will take some time to iron out some problems . The main problem is the concession stand issue which was rebuilt, they will need another or a concession trailer and I am sure that will be taken care of in future days . What I understand more is to be done on the facility itself , like a extension to the paved walkway in front of the grandstand and other projects. And to talk further about what the first gentleman said , there will be no cars in the infield for sprint car shows as its been in the past , new pumbing fixtures put in restrooms. So come and watch Susky grow , you will be proud of what Scott and Kolten have done .
Sir  Mr. Wishbone , eventually I believe Selinsgrove will fix pit problem if they make money now or in future as many complaints about same issue , so support them please .

I'm the first one to hammer you when you're wrong but I'll give credit where it's due. You're dead on. I wasn't there but it's only natural that the first night would have a some hang ups with all new management and staff. Especially after such an extensive renovation project. I don't know that I've ever seen a track that took on and successfully completed so many huge projects over the course of one offseason. In fact, I'd say there will be some rough spots throughout the course of the season here and there but their game will get more and more tight as they go. This is a new endeavor for most everyone involved and there's only one way to get experience. You can't just go buy it, you gotta learn and grow through trial and error. I'm not a fan of super sportsman at all but I plan on supporting all of the 410 shows and possibly USAC depending on what I have going on that weekend.
