The people that ran it last year wanted just one night of ASCS National racing at one track. The ASCS National said no and pulled the National Series out of the Northwest. Then a track changed hands and that Promotor took over the ASCS National racing. So the people that were the ASCS NW desided not to run it.
It is taken over in Washington by the STSS Sprints ( Summer Thunder Sprint Series ) And down in Oregon by the former director of the ASCS NW, by the WST ( Western Sprint Tour ) They also are running speedweek just like last year.
So the Northwest has ASCS National racing only at Skagit and at Grays Harbor.
But there are cars and stars that run both series, the STSS and WST.
Info for the STSS is on the Skagit Speedway Site and WST is on the Cottage Grove Speedway Site.
