With the water shortage in California, How are the tracks coping with the water restrictions?

I don`t understand why they don`t run a pipeline down the I5 corridor from up here in Oregon. Lord knows we`ve got more than we need . Hell, they pipe oil all over the world. Maybe a little income for Oregon as well!

Very good question, and one I've contemplated myself. Would be very interested to know the answer. Maybe they don't have the same restrictions as a residential dwelling. Maybe they're secretly drilling their own wells like some of the farmers, whom I'm sure are following the proper codes on backflow prevention so as not to contaminate the drinking water.

What makes you think Oregon would assist CA ? Only way to get Oregon to send water is if CA agrees to send no more transplants to OR..

Can they use Salt Water! I mean they are not drinking it. They might have a White Race Track before long though.

We send you water (for a slight fee) Then people won`t want to leave for up here! I made my first trip to Trophy Cup last year. I was kinda worried about the weather and buying tickets in advance. Once I got there, I realized rain wasn`t an issue in Tulare! I`m thinking it looks less like a drought and more like a climate change. I hope that`s not the case. Looking forward to October in Tulare.

Last year was my first Trophy Cup too. The whole area was bone dry. I talked to a friend's Dad, 80+ yr. old rancher who lived there his whole life, he said it was the driest he'd ever seen.
Sorry to say I was disappointed in track prep. 1st nite, everybody was wrecking in turns 3 &4, even on hot laps. Next nite, wrecking on hump going to the pits in 1&2. Grand Finale, follow the leader (kind of...), which was the last thing I expected from total inversion. I don't know much about prep or if drought affected it, but I hope it gets better

Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown has everything under control. Relax.
