Yes that was Jack that said that, here's another one for you. I've crashed a few cars but never going slow. Lealand McSpadden

So I'm standing in turn three one night, looking over the top of the boards at the next heat race getting ready to take the green, when our driver looks at me and says, " hey, I think that's my heat race! ".

Don't laught, it's old: you know how to make a small fortune racing cars? Start with a big fortune.
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

My brother and I were standing and looking at a sprintcar and he leans over and said "it looks scary in there"

Brent Kaeding won a CRA race at Hales Corner Speedway and after the race the track announcer was interveiwing him and ask him if he had ever seen a track like Hales Corner before,to which Brent replied,"No I haven't and I hope I never see one like it again."

One night our modified driver got a huge run down the front stretch and decided there was room for 3wide in turn one with him in the middle. Not sure who was more suprised top groove driver or bottom groove driver or possibly our driver when middle groove ceased to exist. His reply after the carnage arrived back at the trailer ? " man that would've been fuc**ng awesome if id of taken the car with me !"

One night at Chico Craig Dillard ran off T-3 and flipped it out in the "North 40." Bobby Gerould was the infield announcer. When he got over to Craig he talked with him over the track speakers and asked him what happened. Craig said, "I stepped on my pecker I guess." The crowd loved it!

Doug Wolfgang once said "It doesn't matter how much experience I've got, there's no way I can out brave a 19 who's never been on his head."

I understand that Jack Hewitt once said something like "We have to tear em up sometimes so the people in the stands don't think they can do this."

CAn't remember the driver, but I read a story from Jack Miller talking about the 1st night he had a wireless microphone and how excited be was...sure enough somebody flipped, Jack met him as he got out of the car, stuck the mic in his face and said WHAT HAPPENED OUT THERE... the driver very quickly said for the whole crowd to hear "I wrecked the F-in thing"
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

Not sure who it was but I'm told a racer once said, "Over the years I've spent most of my money on booze, fast women and fast cars. The rest I wasted."

Once worked on a car where the car owner always told the driver to tuck in his pecker because it hurt pretty damn bad to step on it and it costs me alot of money
