This is Shawn's BEDROOM. I remember in the original the hanging of the photos on the ceiling (after many, many rums) about took the life of a few of us. Maybe my fondest memories in sprint car racing happened with this character, Lord we had fun and boy do I miss him. When they throw dirt on me the smile I have will be directly traceable to California and this special human being. Love and miss ya' Shawny boy.....
PS Thanks Mr. Grant, wonderful job and I too would imagine you have some stories to tell from this past weekend, way to go....

hey rpmx, i did make it down this year, would`nt have missed it for the world! with shawn being the grand marshall, i`m surprised he let us hang with him, being a celebrity and all! it was great hanging with him, we even had a couple cold beers together, which he drank much faster then i could! shawn is an amazing person, and all that know him, or have even met him, are all better for it!

Thats great that you could make it. I figured you would. Wish we couldve made it.. Meeting up with Shawn the first year you brought him to Knoxville, totaly changed my outlook on life in general. I'm pretty sure meeting him changed my daughters career path in life also, even if she was only 12.. He makes that kind of an impact on people. I hope he had a great time over the weekend..
