As we all know drivers, cars, owners, crew members and sponsors are always changing year by year in sprint car racing. Just wondering what was everyones favorite team at any given era?
Mine was the 4m team of 2002 thru 2004. Scott Chilcutt owner, Shane Stewart driver and Rob Hart as crew chief. They were all very cool people, would talk to anyone but most importantly they would show up anywhere and be a threat to win. They would race anything, 360, 410, WoO show, ASCS show, All Star show and local shows.

My favorite all time team was the 1989 DP Motorsports 8D with Wolfie, Duece, and Robert Hubbard.

I agree with texdel!
Sammy and his crew chief Terry Gray and Mr. Nance, what a team. Back to back WoO Championships!

My dad's of coarse. The always Ford powered Treviscraft 88 called Claytwister. More tasteful, unique and beautiful than any 3 cars today. Never in victory lane but still way cool. Thanks dad.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Bobby Davis, Jr driving the Casey Luna Ford. The car was referred to as "The Penalty Box" early on for its revolving door of drivers, but Bobby took it to a WoO championship in 1989.

Isn't that the year that Kinser, Sammy and Wolfie were running with that other sprint group, who's name currently escapes me? USA or something like that.

As a lifetime North Dakota resident, I'd guess any North Daktoan 35 or 40 years old or older, even though that age group never saw him race, they'd still have to say due to reputation, as I do at a much older age, Don Mack driver of the Doug Howells Schatz Crossroad Truckstop # 4 (various sponsors over the years including for many years Rydell Chevy of Grand Forks,ND). Winner of 77 and 78 Florida 500, 78 Little 500, 76 Golden 200, and hundreds of feature races in the midwest especially. Also I believe one of the original drivers who drove in the first WoO race at Devils Bowl----I think.
I'm not sure but one of the cars he drove was for sale in NSSN in 2008 for $22,000, in shape for vintage events, it was called the 1973 Paul Leffler sprint car driven by Don Mack. Obviously I don't know all the history here. How Paul Leffler and Doug Howells fit in this puzzle I don't know, maybe someone can fill in my guesses here. A close 2nd would be another North Dakota, Dave Skari, winner again of at least a hundred features until his untimely death in a race at the big high-banked and fast half mile Red River Valley speedway in 1975.
Ten years from now I'd guess that Donny Schatz will challenge these two for "my favorite of all time".

And how many years did Steve win that Sammy and Doug did not run them all?

I can't limit it to just one, but my top two would be:
Bobby Grim, Hector Honore and the beautiful Bardahl Special "Black Deuce" and
Jerry Blundy, Mel Moffitt, Hugh Reno and the #33.
