I'm needing someone that can draw or someone who is in to graphics etc.. I need a logo for my Cans 4 Cash 4 Honor Flights. I was thinking of a red white & blue aluminum can made up to look like a 727/737 etc. With the words Cans 4 Cash 4 Honor Flights where the windows are. This is a great project I have taken on. In 2011 we raised $1,490.83 in really nine months. This year in the first two months we raised $351.00. Below is what 540 Pounds of smashed aluminum cans looks like in Ford Ranger bed, LOL.
I can't afford a lot. I'm thinking of having them made up into decals with I Dared To Care I Support Central Prairie Honor Flights or something like that. I can probably dream a little. I could trade a non worn AJ Foyt orange or a blue AJ Foyt Gilmore cap for the drawing I select.
P.S. Someone in the oil business in Chanute Kansas gave a big chunk of cash to send some Vets on an Honor Flight this summer. I remember a pilot that could pilot his way to the races and then pilot with the best of them on the dirt. I'm kind of hoping it might be that racing legend from Chanute. He was one of my heroes.

Hello. I built the OVRA site: http://ovraracing.com/ . Larry notified me about you needing this logo, and I would be glad to help.

Central Prairie Honor Flights flies Mainly WWII Vets to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorial and all the memorials. In time they will move on to the Korean War Vets. What I do is just a small part to help raise funds. Last year I donated $1490.00 and this year is up to $351. I was trying to incorporate the aluminum can and a jet airliner into the logo. Below is what the Central Prairie Honor Flight looks like.

That is a good cause. The logo looks like something I can work with. I will let you know something soon.

Don't forget to say you also built the Kansas Antique Racers web-Site where he also did a great job.

I'm trying to get back into working on RFTP. After getting out of trucking I been busy with my full time job at night and trying to get the cleaning business moving up. We have seven clients now. The Honor Flight project has turned into a project I would have never dreamed it would have. It takes a lot of time. With a Ford Ranger as the freight hauler I need to smash every can that gets donated. I'm taking a load to Hutchinson tomorrow. It will not be the record of 541 pounds but it will be several hundred. But the record is for a full two months. This load will be for a month and a couple of days.

My mother passed away in December and I was going through several boxes of photos. I found pictures of my dad (Vernon Schrater 24) on his honor flight (out of Great Bend, Kansas) as well as a cap and t shirt. I remember him showing me his photo with the governor of Kansas standing next to him. It was a highlight of his life. (Apr. 1923 - Feb. 2010) U.S. Army

How about this for a knock out logo? Done by:
Contact Shan @ [email protected]
If anyone is interested our new yearly total is $665.40 in aluminum cans. I closed my FaceBook account so now I'm building a new website for the can project. They just ruined FaceBook with that TimeLine thing. It is just way to busy and not friendly. The ole websites and forum is it. The site is in the building stage and may not be viewable yet until DNS changes propagates. www.cans4cash4honorflights.org

The Honor Flight site is up and running. I will update it to let my supporters know what we collected and how much money we have donated. www.cans4cash4honorflights.org
If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in English, thank a WWII Vet before it is too late!
