Went out and looked around the track today and the facility really looks pretty good. Never hear much about it, has anyone got any info or have you been there this year? Really curious on car quality and counts. Anyone? Thanks Tim

The track runs weekly but about an average of ten cars per division, which is about six classes I do believe. If you check speednetdirect.com and look up Altus Speedway they will have results posted from this year.
There are a couple of special events a year for the Super Trucks and Late Models (pavements) and they average about 15 cars per event. I haven't been in about fifteen years or so back when the now defunct T.I.D.A. was still around so I personally can't help you with other questions pertaining.

Sorry to assume. We sponsored Steve Smith this year as he won the points championship at Wichita Falls I believe, but I am pretty sure they ran some races at Altus too. Don't know much about it but I bet Garry Stephens would. He is the car owner and long time friend of my Dad's. E-mail me if you want and I'll give you his number. [email protected]
Thanks, Jeff
They may have won the points in Altus instead of Wichita Falls. I wasn't able to keep up with where they were exactly. What a bad sponsor lol
