4 Speed Promotions and Eddie Martin Team Up for Ultimate Stock Car and Sport Mod Clinic!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – October 21, 2011 - 4 Speed Promotions is proud to announce it will be hosting the "Ultimate Stock Car and Sport Modified Set-Up Clinic" with one of the most victorious driver in both divisions, Eddie Martin of Stilwell, Oklahoma. This six and a half our session will take place on Saturday afternoon, January 14, 2012 inside the Exchange Center Conference Room, located across from the Chili Bowl on the Tulsa Fairgrounds in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
"I felt like the stock car and sport mod guys always get left out, so I knew Eddie, with the seminar experience and with him building cars, he would be perfect," said Deatherage. "This will be a reunion for him and I as I got him started in doing seminars about 17 years ago.
Martin, owner of Big Chief Chassis, has amassed over 400 features in his illustrious career in just about every class of dirt cars. His Big Chief Chassis IMCA Sport Mods have won two National Championships with Keith White along with Steven Abbey clinching the 2009 IMCA Rookie of the year. Big Chief pilot Rallo Pilikington won the 2009 ARK-LA-Tex Sport Mod Championship while Louisiana's Josh Beckam has picked up ten feature wins in 2010.
Some of Eddie's wins include 2008 "Duel in the Desert" $15,000 Winter Meltdown in Las Cruces, New Mexico and the $10,000 to win Enid, Oklahoma "Street Stock Nationals." Eddie has competed in every class of car from street stocks to late models and has been performing chassis seminars for the past seventeen years. He prides himself on a easy to understand and simple approach to chassis dynamics. In a recent interview Eddie was quoted as saying "in these seminars we are trying to bring a logical approach to racing. With all of the complexity in today's racing environment, people get lost and we want to help them understand their cars. I just enjoy working with racers who want to learn more about their cars."
This class will have an extensive question and answer period. Learn as much as you want. If you pick up one thing that increases your feature finish one time then it has paid for itself.
Cost for "The Ultimate Stock Car and Sport Modified Set-Up Clinic" is $175 per person or $250 for the driver and one crew member. Make sure to send in your registration early as this class will sell out. You must sign up by January 12, 2012.
