I guess the question will be how will track conditions be this year compared to the rubber down racing from last year. Looks like the track conditions have not prevented teams from entering for this years event. As long as the cars keep coming things surely won't change.

I will go only if it rains every day in advance of the evening race. That's the only way the track will get prepared for racing (as opposed to freight training around the bottom of the track).

I know for a fact that the Clay's have attained the proper equipment to make sure last years fiasco does not happen again.
I'll be there all 3 nights.

Yes, i will be there all three days.
Note to Tracey Clay:
With the joint being a dump, at least make an attempt to make a decent racing
surface!!!!!!

If you don't like the place, or the quality of racing, why don't you just stay home !!

dirtracefan 73,
the last three year the track surface has not been half as good as the previous four to six years, they have overcame rain, wind, cold, warm on those year to provide good rather good racing track conditions, seems like the year after the Howard crash they are content making the track very hard slick and dusty to slow the cars down, if this what the new ideal surface they want to provide is sure be nice to hear it from them, then attendance will I bet drop, the facility itself is one of the worse I have been to but have seen many great races there and it is pretty much the only racing going on this weekend, sorry to say I will miss this years event so hope I hear what a great track and show I missed from all those lucky enough to attend,

Why would you give a response like this to n2sprints statement when it is a fact? Are you one of the owners or a family member to the Clays? The facilities at I 30 Speedway are by far the worst kept facilities I have ever been to? A lot of us enjoy Sprint Car racing enough that we spend quite a bit of money to make the trip to LR to the STN every year and are disappointed AGAIN every year that the facilities continue to deteriorate. Have you been in the men's restrooms? I cannot help but believe that the track owners would not use a restroom themselves that are as dispicable as those. I suppose as long as the best sprint car teams in the world continue to show up every year we sprint car fans will continue to show up as well but we will never like having to put up with such bad facility conditions.

I understand where you are coming from. The last 2 times I have been there, one in a sprint car and one in a modified I received a "shafting". I don't bash them I just won't return.....I guess it's part my fault for even going to the state of Arkansas!....Larry Neighbors

Anybody going to Little Rock?
|
With the near-certainty of rain for Thursday night, my information, from another site, is they plan to run both Thursday and Friday night qualifying shows on Friday night similar, I guess, to what Knoxville did this year. My question is, did they charge for two nights at both the gate and pits on Friday night at Knoxville? Is this I-30's intention?
