Please pray for Joe's fight for life this weekend. He was always in the Grandstands on Friday night at State Fair Speedway for many years and hated to miss a race. We are thinking of him and his family.

Joe lost his fight for life Wednesday night. He was a gentle giant as he climbed up the grandstands each Friday night at State Fair Speedway with a smile and wave to everyone. I think a lot of people knew him but maybe not his name..... Isn't that how it was? You knew people by faces from years and years of rooting your favorite driver on to victory.
We will miss you Joe -- Rest in Peace

I am sure I have seen him, where did he sit at Fairgrounds Speedway?
So sorry to hear of another loss in the racing community.

He sat on the North end of the grandstands and alot of the time he drove his Harley to the races. He usually was in the pits after the races and I bet you had seen him one time or another. Very personable type of guy. His obit was in the Sunday OKC paper....
