Now Possible $6500 to win This Weekends Thunderfest Late Model Shootout!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Muskogee, Oklahoma – September 21, 2011 - With just two days left before the kickoff of the first annual topless "Thunderfest Late Model Shootout" at the famed Thunderbird Speedway, located on the Muskogee County Fairgrounds in Muskogee, Oklahoma featuring the MARS DIRTcar late model series, more added money has been contributed to any late model driver who can sweep both nights features.
Charlie's Chicken, for years a staple in the Muskogee area and long-time contributor to dirt track racing, has contributed $500 on top of the already mentioned $500 bonus to any driver who can win this Friday and Saturday nights feature finale. With Friday nights feature paying $2500 to win and Saturday nights winner $3000, then add the afore mentioned $500 bonus and this just announced $500 sponsor, sweeping both nights could net one driver $6500.
It all kicks off this Thursday night with an open practice session from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Then Friday night program will start at 7:30 PM and see a complete show of topless late models, including heat races, last chance features and the feature finale. Then, beginning at 7:30 PM on Saturday night, it will be another complete show of heat races, last chance features and the feature finale.
Pit passes for Thursday nights practice is just $10 while pit entrance for Friday night will be $30 and Saturday night will be $35. Friday night grandstand general admission will be $15 for adults or $20 for reserved while kids ages 10 and under are just $5. Saturday adult general admission tickets are $18 for adults and $20 for reserved seating. Tickets for kids ages 10 and under are $5.
