Information Regarding 2nd Annual $10 K to Win Stock Car Nationals Announced!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – August 28, 2011 - Rules and payout information for the second annual Stock Car Nationals at Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada, Oklahoma have been released and are now online on the tracks website. This event is set to take place on Wednesday – Saturday night, September 28 through October 1st, 2011 and will once again pay $10,000 to Saturday night's feature finale winner while all drivers just making the 20 car field will earn $500.
Kip Hughes of Enid, Oklahoma won last year's inaugural event at the track which saw over fifty cars do battle through the three nights of racing action.
It all kicks off on Wednesday night on September 28th with an open practice session beginning at 7:00 PM. Two days of qualifying will take place beginning on Thursday night with the top five from that nights feature finale locked into the first five inside rows of Saturday night's championship feature event. Another complete show will be run on Friday night with the top five of that nights feature finale making up the outside of the first five rows for Saturday night. On championship Saturday night there will be non-qualifiers, last chance and "B" features in prelude to the night's finale.

Below is complete race information you need to know regarding the 2nd Annual Stock Car Nationals:
WHAT: 2nd Annual Stock Car Nationals paying $10,000 to win and $500 to start the twenty car feature finale on Saturday night
WHEN: Wednesday-Saturday night, September 28-October 1st, 2011. Practice takes place on Wednesday night starting at 7:00 PM with two complete qualifying nights on Thursday and Friday night starting at 7:00 PM. Saturday night's last chance races and features begin at 8:00 PM. Pit gates open at 5:00 PM all four nights.
WHERE: Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada, Oklahoma. The half mile dirt track is located 10 miles northwest of Ada on Hwy. 3W
ADMISSION: Pit passes for Wednesday nights practice are $25 while there will be free admission into the grandstands. Thursday and Friday night pit passes are $30 while grandstand tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and ages eleven through fifteen. Saturday night's pit passes are still $30 while grandstand admission will be $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and ages eleven through fifteen.
PAYOUT: Saturday night's championship feature will pay $10,000 to win and $500 to start for all drivers making the twenty car feature. Saturday nights "B" feature will see the top ten drivers transfer to the championship feature while finishing positions eleven through sixteenth pick up $300. Positions seventeen through twentieth earn $250. Finishing positions first through tenth in the "non-qualifiers" feature will pick up $100 with positions eleven through twentieth picking up $50.
Registration: Pre-registration is $150 if postmarked on or before September 17th. Regular registration after September 17th is $200.
DETAILED SCHEDULE:
Wednesday: Practice/Hot Laps
Thursday: Complete race program. Draw for heat starting position. Heat winners to "A", 2nd to "B", 3rd to "C". Winners will draw for starting position in "A". Five cars move from "C" to "B", and five cars move from "B" to "A". Top five in Thursday "A" qualify for Saturday's "A", inside 5 rows. Next five qualify for inside five rows in Saturday's "B" main.
Friday: Same as Thursday. Top five in "A" qualify for Saturday's "A", first five outside rows. Next five qualify for Saturday's "B" first five outside rows.
Saturday: 10 cars are qualified for "A", and 10 cars are qualified for "B". All other cars draw for start in last chance race. 10 cars move from last chance to "B" and 10 moves from "B" to "A". The top 20 non-qualifiers will race in non-qualifier race.
