Yea. 20 cars some good racing, bad flagman. no reatrooms close to pits, 2 push trucks one broke down. 1 car destroyed in the 1st heat race and promoter pain on an 18 to 19 car field because the crashed car could not make it to start the main? 20 cars paid entry and pit fees and pay out was docked for a car that was destroyed???

I heard about that as well, and Steve, that's a bad decision that will probably loose you more $ in the long run.
Why in the hell would someone spend so much time and effort to build goodwill and a fan base, and then just piss it away for $500?.... I never cease to be amazed

Promoter: Seems like a lot of strikes against you for the Sat. race and other races at VRP. Big question, why would you not post the results after the race on Sat.? You have 4 people setting around paying off teams at the pit window ......why not have one enter the results. Boy you must miss Doug B. I find some of the things you are doing very "stupid" as some have posted.......you're going to lose some fans and cars. I know you can not please everyone...but really man, who do you think your kidding. If I were a team that drove over from Az. and you paid out for under 20 cars because one destroyed a "high dollar" Sprint Car.......I would tell my friends. Not going the VRP anymore. Another thing, why would you play music during the same time the Scott D. was talking. You must think this is a "Monster Truck" crowd and fans are too drunk to hear the announcer. I have made my decision not to ever come to Victorville again. And lastly, you need to learn from In And Out Burger.......keep is simple stupid...... a number 1, 2 or 3.... but I want a hotdog....see ya. Now, how about the RESULTS? Mr. Steve.

Guys....Here below is the original post...I have learned to be up-front about everything for pay-outs! It even states on the web site that a full field is 20 cars must take the A-Main. I also am very up-front about what the pay-outs are way in advance as posted on the web site. I always state go to the web site to see the pay-outs so there is never a issue. The sad thing here is that if it wasn't for the 4-5 Arizona cars that came at the last minute, and the 360's that supported us.....The car count would have even been worse, and that was with a Full Field Pay-Out of $2,500 to win All Cars did get 100% No matter if they Pre-Registered or not...All Paid in Cash.....19 cars started the main...all got the Don Flanders Bonus...(Thank you Don)........We are replacing the Flagman, I will not tolerate that!!!! We are working on Track...(Just not enough Clay)......I want to Thank this Board that attended....You 81 that got the meal Tickets made this event Break Even, and that is all I am trying to do is Break-Even and provide another Track....I really hate to say it, but other than USAC and Perris, the 410's may be in serious trouble, at least to be able to support a small Track like our's.......I will not give up, but man, this is really a challenge!!!! The thing that really makes me sick is this last weekend, I had 3 of my other events (Monster Trucks, which is a Circus, and No way as exciting as Sprint Cars which I really enjoy, and the crowds were Eldora over 3,000 Pd...Bismarck, ND..3,600 Pd..Dickins, ND Town of 25K 1,500 Pd) What in the Hell is the answer for small Dirt Tracks, and Sprint Cars. ???? Sorry to vent....But I am so frustrated I can't get the Sprint car Program to grow!!!! I guess it is all about the economy!!!! But I am trying!!!!

Well, I am very upfront as well you Frigging POS! I hope you disappear! I will NEVER be back to your track unless USAC is paid in full prior to the show. I spoke to you for two minutes on the night of your first sprint car race and walked back to my seat and told all 10the of my friends this guy is a Squirrely POS and wouldn't trust a thing his says or does! I have never been so vindicated in my life of figuring someone out in two minutes as I just have!
Not one person sitting in the stands felt cheated by there only being 19the cars on the track you POS! The only ones violated were the ones putting on the show! I hope you choke on an Unsliced Pepperoni you Maggot!

That is exactly what he wants you to do! He makes money on the sweat of other good peoples efforts! I have never met anyone like him in my life, not even the most crooked horse trader in the world is like this! They at least have a conscience!

* How many Tracks are trying to run 410's Sprint Cars. * How many Pay Cash Night of the Show. * How many are willing to come on here and address issue's. * Maybe Victorville should go back to their old pay-outs. * You pay $15 bucks...I pay over $1,500 Bucks to see Sprint Cars * What have you done lately to grow 410 Sprint Cars. * Every Driver received exactly what was posted on the web site in Cash, as all Drivers do for all Classes, and every post guides people to web site to see the pay-outs IN ADVANCE. With your appreciation, next year you might just enjoy that One Race a month at Perris!

Don,
Your wrong about that as well! He has made a financial mistake and its costing you money that you earned! He is using you! What you offered to do is very honorable but my guess is he already had the list of names already in a draft email waiting for you to come to his rescue!
Realistically, id be shocked if he ever gets more then 10 sprint cars there ever again! Im sure he just lost 25% of the fans and probably all that read this board! Most of us collectively paid a bigger add on purse at the Kindoll Classic then he paid this last weekend!
All I got to say, is anyone that brings a car to his track in the future better get someone to hold the purse money for them before a tire touches the track! One other thing I would do is during an interview is ask when they are going to get the rest of the purse money from the last race and let ALL of Victorville know what is going on!
Don, I also just got an email saying that the Stock Car guys only got 1/4 of their purse. I dont know if that's true.

As a fan not making any money I've put in over $1500 bucks into to cars this year! Not to mention traveling to work on cars out of my pocket etc. So I think AS a fan I've done more then my share! All I see you do is take from the guys putting on your show! You talk about the money you're losing to put on the shows! That is called an investment! I've put over $100,000.00 into my stirrup business not knowing if id make anything back or not but by treating people with respect and doing what is right I've done pretty good with it! How many Stirrups do you think im going to sell at a track? Zero but I sponsor cars that raced on your track because I love the sport! Those funds are now gone to your track! The only one that can make a difference to your track is you and all you've done is crap on the people that bring a show to your track!
