Mexican resturaunt in Knoxville is really good! (So is the Muck Muck at the Chinese Resturaunt on the square.
At the track go to the food vender down at the end by turn 4 (Kin Folks Barbecue) Brisket Sammys or Pulled Pork Sammys, Gotta try it at least once or twice, 3 maybe 5 times!

Best restaurant in Knoxville is Swamp Fox, just off the square. Great burgers, great chicken, great salads...must try the fried green beans (best thing EVER) and the loaded swamp fries are awesome too. Sweet potato casserole and sweet potato fries are also great.

There are 2 Chinese restaurants on the square. Deng's Garden is better by far, IMO. Hit the Dollars for Scholars BBQ by the RR tracks and Ideal Ready Mix.
Bos Landen golf in Pella is the nicest around and have heard the course and greens are in top notch shape.
The band under the grandstands is a ton of fun and way more elbow room than Dingus.

Always loved Bos Landen and it seemed like the past 5-6 years or so the course had gone downhill some. Last year was a little better than it had been and I heard it was under new ownership. That course even at its worse was still a great course. Is it getting back to the way it was?

Drive 20 miles south and you will find Williamson Tavern, not a pretty place, but they make one of the best 16 oz hamburgers you will ever taste.

The city of Pella took it over last year and are getting it back in top shape. My brother-in-law & son played it last week and said it was great. Best greens he's played on. We have had very hot weather for the last 2 weeks with very little rain so we'll see.

Monarchs is an excellent restaurant in Pella. And I noticed the name appearing as a sponsor on McCarl's 55 and Madsen's 28 at Knoxville. Always great to support those who support the sport.
