Seeing as they are replacing the scrambles with the race of champions.
How many races are there going to be on Friday now.
There used to be a full program with the non-qualifiers, then the scrambles and the international challenge.
A few years ago they changed that to 2 semis and a feature for the non-qualifiers, the scrambles and international challenge.
The non-qualifiers are getting the shortest end of the stick, why show up to run 1 semi.
A lot of the people I know didn't show up on friday until scramble time, then left.
I personally don't see what's going to keep people in the stands to watch 5 races.
Is there more racing going to happen that I'm unaware of or is this the new Friday format.
Any more info on Fridays racing program would be greatly appreciated.

There's been some complaints that the Friday program is now too short and quite honestly I tend to agree. It's always been the least exciting of the nights and personally I like the doing away of the Scrambles for the Race of Champions. I still would like to see the heats, B and A Mains re-replace the Semis.
On Friday, there will be:
2 Non Quali-Semis
1 Non Quali Feature
World Challenge
Race of Champions

The sad thing is they will waste time in between most likely and it will be 10:30 before we get out. I do not know if this is why but I could see them not wanting to run more races in case if it rains and they have to run a day show. It gives them more time to prep the track for Saturday night.

I vote the Heats, Semis & A main to replace the Semis also.
