The National Midgets from Dodge City are being shown on usacracing.com/pitpass. Gary Taylor is quick time so far, 2nd Brady Bacon, 3rd Kyle Larson, and 4th Bryan Clausen so far. 16 qualifiers so far out of 37 midgets. Hope you enjoy
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

I have an HDMI port on my laptop so I just unplug the HDMI cable from my cable box and plug it into my puter.
Hope this helps.

If your TV is new, check to see if it has a port on it that looks like the port on the back of your computer monitor. If it does, then take a monitor cable and plug into both your TV and your laptop. If it doesn't...well, your screwed.
And...as I'm typing this to you, I've lost the video feed...nice...

If your tv has a monitor cable input( many of the newer tv's do) and a audio input slot for a headphone cable and your compuer has a connection( 15 pin cable) to hook up a second monitor, you can do what I do
you need a male to male VGA monitor cable for video
and a 3.5 mm male to male headphone cable for sound
both can be had cheap off of ebay - you should be able to get them for 10-15 bucks total
I'm sure radio shack or best buy would have these also for a little more
get cables long enough to reach your tv from where your computor sits
once hooked up I just drag the window over onto the tv and hit full screen. it acts as a second monitor

You may also need to go into the "properties" of your video card and tell it to enable the second display/ If you tell it to mirror rather than extend desktop - then you don't have to drag the window to it = it mimics your desktop.

i couldn't believe how easy it was. almost to go to be true. i just went out and bought a new laptop that has an hdmi port, and an hdmi cord and plugged them into the computer and tv and it worked. the good thing a bout it was i didn't have to unplug anything because my tv has 3 hdmi ports, and i was only using one. Looking forward to watching the usac races tonight on my 46 inch tv with surround sound instead of 15 inch laptop screen. i have been wanting to do something like this for a long time. i watch races on the internet a lot. it will almost be like actually being there in person and save myself $20 admission fee and the 3 hour drive up there. can't wait until tonight. hope the rain stays away though. thanks everybody for your input. greatly appreciated because i had no idea how to do something like this. see ya. Jeremy LETS GO RACIN!!

Not sure how many butts need to be in those bleachers to make a profit, but I can't imagine that Dodge City can hold too many more big purse events with crowds like that. I suppose it's possible that we can't see everyone there, but the crowd seems a little light. Chilly weather and the economy (gas prices especially) are surely contributing factors. I sure do like being able to watch the races out in Cali though!

Usac midgets never seem to draw a big crowd... they really need the double header with Usac sprints & midgets to bring the fans.
Nice car count though with nearly 40 cars.
