Maxwell Industries would like to congratulate Joey Saldana
and Kasey Kahne Racing on Joey’s 12th victory of the season at the
finale of the Oil City Cup in Edmonton, AB. Joey started 8th and
maneuvered his way to the front engaging in hard fought battles with Donny
Shatz and Sam Hafertepe Jr. trading slide jobs back and forth as the race
dwindled down. With the victory, Joey stretched his lead in the World of
Outlaws championship points standings to 18 over 2nd place Steve
Kinser. The victory was Joey’s 71st in his World of Outlaws career.
