Really looking forward to my 1st trip to Knoxville... Would like to see Jason Sides win it, but it really doesn't matter... After all its the freaking Nationals...All I ask is for no rain and cooler temps than what we have here, 102 today...heat index 117...

Have a great time, but than you wont have to work at it to hard!! This will be year 20 for me, but I have to miss Wens and Thurs for the first time this year. But will be in the stands Fri and Sat. Can't wait, best time of the year!!!

Cool, a Knoxville Virgin!!! Trust me you will be back. Again, and again, and again...... There is just something about the Nationals. Can't explain it. Have a wonderful time and take in as many of the activities as you can. People are great!!! Sorry but, I'm afraid you won't be getting a break from the heat. I just hope we don't get any rain. You, my friend, are about to embark on a great adventure. ENJOY!!!!!!

Do they have a bikini contest at the Knoxville Nationals? At the Gold Cup, Hunt Magneto's rounds up the finest, wildest strippers and dancers around and pays them money to get down on the stage. It is a nice compliment to the races.

Why , yes they do! I believe last year was the "first" annual Dingus Bikini contest , A handfull (pardon the pun)of racers relatives, and locals made for great entertainment , the contest was held during the heat of the day, im trying to recall- proubly thursday ? - it was friggn HOT! new Dingus concrete was hot on this scrony Norwiegan Ash, a cold beer was just the answer to a much needed cooldown! Anybody, have any info on this years schedule of events?
