FORECAST FOR RAIN, SNOW & COLD TEMPERATURES FORCE POSTPONEMENT OF SUNDAY’S BANJO “GLEN NIEBEL CLASSIC” TO MAY 23
Weather has again intervened to delay a USAC National Sprint Car Series event.
The forecast for rain, snow showers and cold temperatures for Sunday in Indiana has led to postponement of the scheduled Sprint/Kenyon Midget Car “doubleheader” at the Anderson Speedway.
The “Glen Niebel Classic” presented by Banjo Corporation has been rescheduled for May 23 to include both the Sprint Cars and Kenyon Cars. A 100-lap Sprint race, “The Banjo 100,” and a 30-lap Kenyon Car feature are on tap.
The USAC National Sprint Car Series opener remains scheduled this Saturday night, April 14, at Twin Cities Raceway Park in North Vernon, Ind.
