NATIONAL MIDGET SERIES GEARS UP FOR IOWA; ADVERSE WEATHER FORCES TEXAS CANCELLATION
The 2007 USAC National Midget Car Series is now preparing for the May 5 USAC “tripleheader” at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Ia. Following Saturday’s rainout at Kyle, Texas.
Rain, cold temperatures and an extended forecast for inclement weather conspired to force Saturday’s cancellation of the “Allstate Lightning 100” presented by Toyota at Thunderhill Raceway after extensive advance race promotion by race organizer Full Throttle Productions.
